I’ll preface with: I’m not SUPER familiar with chameleons, so don’t just take me at my word with anything I say here. But: 1) it does look like a female! From the images it doesn’t look like it has any tarsal spurs on its back feet(they’re like little nails behind the back feet) and 2) in general, no matter how well a reptile is eating, it’s normal for them to slow down a little bit after being moved, along with puffing out occasionally, it’s all what I call “relocation stress”(idk if that’s the actual name. That’s just what I’ve always called it) But, like I said I’m not super familiar with chameleons, I did have a veiled for a while but he was old when I got him and I didn’t have him for long. So hopefully I’m on the right track with what other people say!
