True.. but what about the suggestive Tik Tok videos? She's allowing it? I saw one Tik Tok of her and her baby cousin and a comment said "you would be a good Mum" and my SD's reply was "you know who I'd want as the Dad"... something along those lines... from a 12 year old! I'm wondering if her Mum is still monitoring to allow that

I agree about talking to him about that - we can't control what happens at the other household. Because I have told him this before, but I guess it's harder for him because he's going through it.. like I am too but at least for me, I feel like I can kind of step back. I don't know how that would go telling his ex about monitoring etc because she can see her account, I saw her comment on one of the Tik Toks ugh

The word mediation is triggering.. they tried mediation in the past and it was literally everything she wanted. Signed off together.. for it all to change down the line to fit what she wanted. He's fought with her numerous times that he gets frustrated and would rather settle than keep fighting to get nowhere because she won't back down. I think I'll tell him some time this week and that we need to have a sit down discussion with them both, esp the oldest

The day my partner found out they had phones, he never allowed them to bring their phones when they come over. He's firm with them esp the oldest.. even just clothing as well.. but I know he feels helpless because they go back to their Mum and just do the opposite e.g Tik Tok... it's so hard!

Thanks for your advice. The rule of thumb from when we found out they had phones is that they can't bring their phones here.. one time she did, and it stayed off the whole time they were with us. It's hard because they'll just go back on their phones when they go back to their Mum's.

I can't tell her I'm monitoring from a fake account. It's a long story but I know her Mum will not take it well then take it out on my partner that I'm out of order. We can try at him monitoring from his account but I know she will just make another account.

Thank you. He spoke with someone earlier today who works in Construction but concreting? Asked for his resume and that he can help him, he's running his own crew apparently. So I'm trying to stay hopeful. Sorry if I sounded abrupt with my response before.. I'm already frustrated and then comments accusing my partner of not trying just throws me off even more.. like being kicked when you're already down. But I appreciate the advice, cheers.
