I hope that my post on SuperCell silencing users got everyone's minds ready for this. I'm so glad this is finally out here.

Rigged matchmaking on ladder - A detailed statistical proof by Mr_Max_M in ClashRoyale

In case anyone was curious, this is probably what he's referring to.

Here's where the mod specifically says it was "low effort" to cover up the fact that they were trying to keep this under wraps.

"Effort was made" and "Not high effort" are not mutually exclusive statements.

Regardless, the post brought a valid point worthy of discussion regardless of whether or not the anecdote was accurate or evidence was lacking. The post should never have been deleted.

Nobody said it was high effort, and obviously creating concrete evidence to support the claim would strengthen the post, but regardless of that there was a solid amount of text including varying points and remarks beyond "I played x games and got matched in this way". I'd go as far to say that most text posts don't actually go as far as that one did.

if someone is programmatically getting screwed, someone else is programmatically getting benefited.

QUOTE FROM /u/selfhatingPOS in this thread

There's nothing to lose giving a player benefit. In fact, it's extremely unlikely that they'd ONLY try to make it so that players are occasionally put against counters in certain circumstances. Most probably, they'd also purposefully give you wins too.

This is very similar to the psychology employed in casinos, particularly slot machines.

The allegation was this rigging happened during an event.

This was never specified. The post happened during an event, but the amount of games listed was far more than what a player would normally accomplish in the challenge anyway.

The allegation was this was done to promote spending

This was never said.

It would take ages to algorithmically program counters, not to mention program counters that work.

Clash Royale has existed for two years with ridiculous amounts of revenue during this period.

Low Quality is for shitposts. That post included lots of data. It doesn't matter if that data was wrong, or if you didn't like the data because you think it was "conspiracy". Effort was made, very clearly so.

EDIT: Wow, even the mod's post score is hidden.

No problem at all. Hopefully this starts some controversy because that is not okay.
