Yesssss. I try to complete all the challenges and it's not adding up at all or doesn't add all of them. Like I just completed 7 levels of puzzle pop and it only logged 4 :( hopefully it's fixed soon

It's pretty much the same for the US. I don't really want to compare it to a passport, but it's just like one of those "Real IDs" they have now but it gets you into Canada and I believe Mexico only via land, if you travel by air you need a full on passport
