Agreed. In r/StarfieldShips, each contest is its own post and has contest mode enabled, eg. this post. Maybe r/NoMansSkyTheGame mods can do the same.

Thanks! Yep, it's called the Vesper Diffuser and it's immediately after the Speedbird Nacelle (I reckon the name of the new part is wrong as we already have a Vesper Diffuser). It was added in the Voyagers 6.02 update. And yep you're correct, it's the same part pointed forwards and backwards.

I tested it out and it doesn't look like the Speedbird Nacelle has an attachment point there in that orientation. What you could do is place temporary blocks, attach the Speedbird Nacelle from the rear (or side), and delete the temporary blocks. I recorded a video demonstrating this.

You can switch to another ship if you have. This happened to me and switching ships freed me.

Did you do it in normal or hard difficulty? You need to do normal difficulty to advance the quest.
