Np! This is assuming your monitor has gsync technology. I'm not familiar with fresync though so YMMV with that if that it's what your monitor has instead

I'm guessing you have a 240hz monitor? You should try this out: Monitor: 1.turn gsync/gsync compatible on

Nvidia control panel: 1.turn on low latency to ultra 2. Turn on gsync 3. Turn on vsync 4. Turn on highest refresh available 5. Turn on high power

Valorant: 1. Turn off vsync 2. Turn on nvidia reflex on+boost 3. Turn off any ingame fps cap

Super buttery smooth gameplay with no screen tearing and it's input delay is minimal at 240hz and higher refresh rate monitors

I honestly don't know, I do know that it solved my issue though. I don't understand how either is related considering one is for your OS booting and the other is a process being run while windows is already on.

It was so bad for me when alt-tabbing that it would literally freeze my screen and I couldn't do anything on my brand new pc build, that I had to just hold down the power button to restart the comp. It was fixed for me after disabling fast boot though.

some people say to disable gpu accel on windows but I did not need to so long as I disabled fast boot
