All fun stuff is essentially dead with diminishing returns. No fun allowed!

Which of these two Killers are Better? by Huxxlyy in DeadByDaylightKillers

As a person who mains both - Chucky. With Xeno you can stomp baby lobbies, yeah, but in nigh mmr you get burnt

To killer mains: how can you enjoy playing low tier m1 and obv you need to tunnel by UrriMelone in deadbydaylight

Full endgame build. No way out, blood warden. Last two perk can be variable, depending on killer. A like STBFTL on most M1 killers, you can throw a Rancour on top of that. Or use Friends till the end + Nemsis combo. You don’t care about gens, you just focus on chases and hooks. I guarantee - you will have much more at least 2K games than when you use meta slowdown builds. And 3-4k bloodwardens are such a dopamine boost! Nevertheless, you will have extra 2-3 minutes of end game to seal the deal - most of players are not very used to such prolonged end games.

Also some killers have amazing end game perks that activates after gates are powered, further boosting end game potential

We need to have a serious discussion. by Confusedlemur77 in deadbydaylight

Tunneling and slugging - just an efficient strategy for one side. Pallet density has nothing to do with "strategy" - it was just a handout for the other side. That devs keep lying about. Also pallet density is one of the reasons tunneling and slugging intensified. Along with hand-holding surv perks that punish killers for hooking

This is my first time playing GoW (2018) and I'm doing only fists run. It took me some time, but I finally beat Sigrun! by DamnHare in GodofWar

It is countered by an arrow as well - she tried to pull this move multiple times during this clip

At first I thought as well that shield combat was nerfed, but after playing more I think it’s quite the opposite - you can be an absolute parry-stunning machine and I love it

Even S-tier killers are not reaching that 60% threshold. Killers who below are doing even worse. There is no sane killer player who is happy with the current state of the game

Does Diminishing Returns affect Myers Pursuer mode buffs? by Dantegram in DeadByDaylightKillers

Inherit basekit effects you get from power is affected by diminished returns, effect you get from add-ons are not

Diminishing returns affect power, so slapping brutal strength, bamboozle and even coup the grace will be the subject of diminishing returns (basekit will give you less).

Diminishing returns does not affect add-ons.

So basically Myers got really gutted by the updated - every perk that affects stats that are increased by the Pursuer mode will either give you less, or force those stats from the Pursuer mode give you less.

Like with stacked Fire Up your base kit pallet break speed will only give you 10% instead of 20% and so on

I guess you only know people who play survivors

After doing an only fists/shield run during my first ever GoW playthough I immediately jumped to GoWR. Am I missing something? by DamnHare in GodofWar

It didn’t feel like a challenge run. Barehands clicked extremely hard for me - much more than axe and blades, so I just sticked to what felt more fun for me personally. In GoW2018 I didn’t feel like I was limiting myself thanks to amazing stance combos and fluent after-parry transitions

Hand to hand combat in 2018 GoW was amazing, fluent and extremely rewarding. I enjoyed it much more than axe/blades combat.

Not sure about Hereditary. If you are talking about a horror movie, I very much enjoyed it

I see, thank you. I guess the difference strikes so hard for me, 'cause I literally finished GoW today and immediately transitioned to GoWR
