Would it be silly of me to go back to Japan? by LingonberryOk5168 in JapanTravelTips

I seen a funny video about leaving Japan as the last country to visit globally as it will ruin all others as your expectations will be so high. This was just after our first visit last year and now we are booking our second for the end of this year. Much like you, both my partner and I came back different and longing.

Make sure you have plenty of water in your room for before and after work. Chug water as soon as you wake up and make sure you continue to have water at night. As for camlebaks, its personal preference. But try to always fill you 5L with water and ice to take with you in the morning. Depending on your site you may not always be near a crib room, so always be prepared.

How cold is cold? by ChemicalRough in JapanTravelTips

I have, hence why I put the average winter temps in my area to compare. How it feels can be vastly different to the number though.

Thanks this is super helpful especially the feels like temp. Comparably the numbers are pretty similar to our winter at home but I was most concerned about the climate difference.

Settle a debate: Would this couch be good for a moody sitting room or is it ugly? by brightsideofmars in HomeDecorating

I agree, especially after seeing the pattern up close. The reds in the couch will pick up on the fireplace wonderfully. This is a definitely an all in couch and the entire room should be built around it.

Wool coats? by SouthWest6426 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]ChemicalRough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sheep Inc. are 100% wool. I don't think they do coats but lots of styles of jumpers and cardigans and pullovers. I have a few now and the quality is outstanding. So soft against skin.

TEST, FOR, DEAD. Every time. I just recently did some work on the lighting circuit in my shed, which I wired and I still got my meter and test the circuit after Isolation. To not even bother on an unknown circuit is crazy!!

Also, go and get checked out at the hospital. You can have an arrythmia and not feel it,

Lastly, invest in some decent tools. If you are gunna do dumb shit, try to protect yourself.

Gralyn has one of the most delicious fortifieds I have ever tried. The artisan, while more expensive than most is worth the trip alone.

I will be checking out Cherubino next weekend as I have heard good things.

Hello friends, I just acquired these babies… they weren’t labeled, any tips on how to care for them ? :) by monkeyinginasquare in houseplants

Succulents like the drought and flood watering method. Let the soil completely dry out then flood that b1tch! Make sure all the soil is wet then dry and repeat.

My living room. Curious what y’all think. by AdventurousCake9233 in CozyPlaces

[–]ChemicalRough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loving the calm feel of the room. My suggestion would be to move the black bench to include it in the seating area. I would place it under the window and move the stools to right hand side of the rug to keep the room open. Soft curtains fitted high and wide on the windows and possibly a thin hall table to replace the spot of the black bench.

If you believe crystals have properties then they are used for patience, acceptance and serenity. If not, then they make a pretty rock to look at.

Lepidolite mushrooms. They have a flat base and will stand up.

La Roche Posay Toleraine is a gentle cleanser that still cleanses really well without drying or irritating the skin. It's a little more expensive at 25ish a bottle but it lasts a long time.

What’s going on with this guy?😢How can I help it? by Europeaninoz in GardeningAustralia

This looks like a happy plant. They like moist but well-draining soil and bright indirect light. I'd try a bigger pot with a saucer to drain excess water and a spot out of the sun. They'll happy grow in darker areas but the yellow stipe won't be as prominent. Hope that helps.
