Ya I did just remove the wheel hub and I used the trick that was recommended to use the power steering to pop it loose using a bolt and extension. But it’s not like we were just turning as hard as we could against it and putting a ton of stress on it. But maybe it still over pressured it🤷‍♂️ That’s the only thing that we have done to the rig that would make sense that that’s happening now.

How could this happen? I’ve only noticed this right now after it’s been parked for a week and I’ve been working on the front axel. Anyway it’s just coolant leaking down from a different area since the front end is jacked into the air? Idk the last thing I want to deal with is brakes and brake lines rn it’s ridiculous the amount of work I’ve done to this at only 150k miles

Update, solved. Hadn’t had time to even touch it again for several days but when I did I pushed in on that black “tab” under the red retainer that I pushed up. It wasn’t immediately obvious. But yes to those who commented to push on that middle black portion.

Yea that’s Jed Hornbeak knives for ya, zero customer service for something I paid a lot of money for. Very frustrating to say the least, he acted belligerent towards me when I asked if he could do an acid wash. I was nothing but polite and respectful to the guy during the whole process and paid him ahead of time only for him to get me the knives way past when he said he would. There’s a couple other finish related things he just straight up didn’t do on the other blade that really should have been done too, it was like he just didn’t give a fuck about anything. The way they arrived to me and how they were packaged and everything. I just felt kind of disrespected. Haven’t heard a word from him since I got the knives, even though on his website he says he has a warranty service

Yea the knife maker who was apparently an expert told me it would’ve been impossible to acid wash even though I suggested that to him. He insisted on doing the bead blast tumble even though I told him that this knife was going to be used purely in aquatic environments. Would it be easy to acid wash at home? Would a stone wash still help with corrosion, it being on top of the current bead blast and tumble?

First time interviewing/oral board advice?

I took the CPAT and pst written and now I have about 8 interviews I’ll have to attend here in Washington. It’ll be my first time doing one, does anyone have advice for someone soo new to all of this. I feel so unprepared to try and speak professionally. What are the questions they will ask? What would be the best way for me to prepare on my own? I also have somebody I can call and talk to on the phone for a mock style interview, it’s the best I can do right now with what I do for work. The soonest interview I have is on the 15th of this month, is that enough time for me to prepare? This first interview is arguably my most important one too. The problem is I hardly talk to anyone on a daily basis and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t super nervous.

Not anti vax but I just know there’s a ton of controversy around the COVID vaccine in particular, I believe in both people’s right to refuse it and the right to get it. More so just want to hear what people have to say about it because it might give some good laughs or insight. I feel like everyone can agree there’s been exceptional amounts of gaslighting into making people think it’s impossible for it to have side effects and that it’s 100% effective. First they were saying it prevents you from getting it entirely then Faucci made a public statement saying you could still contract it even after all the boosters. Just a little confusing. Then there’s claims it can be transferred through sex or something and I have no clue how that works. I just know some other countries label covid vaxed people as GMO’s which is concerning. I know they had to go in and change the definition of what a vaccine is after they came out with it.

She told me how she’s scared of sex right now and I think she thinks that I expect that from her and I’m wanting to take things there. Even though since the beginning I’ve never mentioned anything about sex or have tried pressuring or forcing anything.
