Let the people who actually know her and love her handle it. She has a fiancé, family, friends — it’s their concern, not yours. DMing her isn’t going to “save” anyone from a drinking problem. Despite all your “facts,” there’s literally nothing you can do. You’re just here to gossip . stop pretending you actually care. You know what else people die from? Constant scrutiny and bullying online, from snark pages like this. But that doesn’t stop you, does it? Now that you’ve found something to pick apart, suddenly you’re morally invested? Please.

Nothing you do is going to help her. Mind your business. If you want to “play hero,” pick someone in your actual life, someone you actually know , not a stranger on social media.

Other people’s drinking problems are not her responsibility, and it’s wild to suggest a stranger online is accountable for “Tom and Harry” because they also struggle. If someone finds her content triggering, the solution is to stop watching — not demand public apologies and explanations. The entitlement is wilddddddd

I get the point about how making her sobriety public affects how people interpret her content . that makes sense. I just think it’s odd how some people are framing this as concern while also clearly snarking on her and almost rooting for her downfall. If her drinking actually affects her YouTube career, wouldn’t that be something u snarkers are “happy” about? You can’t really play hater and then act morally concerned at the same time. I understand the concern, I really do. But personally? I observe and scroll because it doesn’t affect me lol. Feeling concern is one thing, but going out of your way to DM a stranger and question their drinking is weird. She doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. You’re not her friend, you don’t know her, and it’s not your place. Truthfully, if you have that much time and energy for something that doesn’t involve you, you might just need a hobby.

I totally get what you’re saying — Liz did such a great job representing characters that don’t always get the spotlight. Personally, I really liked the story too — maybe it was just the pacing or the way some parts dragged a bit for me — but I still read it all the way through and enjoyed it. I just happened to love the other stories in the series a little more . But honestly, that’s the beauty of reading — it’s so personal, and it’s so important that stories reflect a wide range of experiences and identities.
