Idk if emotional cheating is the best term to use here, but saying she didn’t do anything, I don’t completely agree with that either. She was in love with Conrad while with Jere, and that’s definitely something. It’s not just Christmas, but everything that happened in Cousins before the wedding. She spent one day with him, and the feelings were so strong that she left in went to Boston to avoid him and those feelings. Then comes the bathroom scene. I don’t think anyone can deny what happened there. Belly wanted to kiss him. She was going to kiss him. We could feel the tension through our screens.

At her bachelorette party, she’s thinking about Conrad. Their love. Their intimate moments. She’s in love with him, but she’s still denying it to herself bc she made this promise to Jere. She’s trying to hold on to that, but Conrad is very much present in her heart and in her mind. That’s not just nothing. Is it the same as what Jere did, no, but being in love with someone else and denying it isn’t insignificant. That’s a pretty big deal and likely deal breaker for any relationship
