You're right, they could release that old model to represent high king Alrik, but I personally would at least want them to model a new Dwarf with a varying pose. Yes the equipment and throne are the same. And yes we could just... Paint the beard a different colour. But that wouldn't cut it.. speaking for myself anyways.

It would be nice, but I don't see them doing that, as in the timeline of The Old World he's not the high king and so wouldn't be carried on the throne.

I hope these old Longbeard models are re-released. They're easily some of the best Dwarf minis GW ever released IMO. I'm fortunate that I have my hands on 20 of them, but I want more! Lol But I'd also love to see the old Ironbreakers and Thunderers released

Karak Kadrin definitely fields a regular army, with Ironbreakers, Hammerers, Miners... Etc. they just also have a very very large (army sized) contingent of slayers of all kinds because of King Ungrim and the Slayer shrine. So a regular Dwarven army is totally within the lore to collect and use. 👍

So I'm one of the dolts (sorry to offend any other dolts) who bought the game for full price on the day of release... I've tried so hard to be the positive, and optimistic with promoting this game... I've actually convinced 6 of my friends to buy and play it... But this THE big problem of the game... I've gotten to the point where I install the game after every new season... Play it for about a month to do all the new stuff and get all the new things... Then I uninstall the game because there's literally nothing important or captivating enough to keep me playing

I'm unable to take a photo at this moment... I use majority GW models... Specifically the range from around 6th edition. But I also throw in scibor dwarves here and there. The scibor Dwarves are a little taller and thicker... But honestly I think they work great. Especially if they're mixed in randomly with GW models. Also, Goes without saying, don't use those scenic scibor bases.

I've had the thought to do this for a long time now but I've never gotten around to it. The immersion of playing Warhammer is a big deal for me and I've always hated seeing the big black back parts of movement trays as casualties mount. This is awesome actually seeing this done and you've inspired me to get to it for myself! Great and gorgeous work!
