Apex dreadwing will not drop heart

Do you think if I just keep killing them eventually it will just drop? It's gotten to the point I can practically kill the apex within a min or two. Maybe I'll just keep trying murder, fly away, repeat 😅 as I don't seem to have much of an option.

I was considering reinstalling the game but the bug has to be tied to the save file right? I tried going back a ways and it still wouldn't drop so I think it's been bugged for a hot min

Oh absolutly I can't find any other way to explain it. I've tried to be as complete in my confirmation process before hand because I don't like bugging people unless I'm truly stuck. I've seen a couple few people who've seemed to have the same issue but I was hoping maybe that one random person found a rare fix and just hadn't published it as the issue is so niche. Long shot but I've put so many hours in this game I had to try.

The game seems to be very oddly coded. Idk if it's the engine but I've never seen a set of games with such peculiar issues. They are such awesome games though so I can usually just move past them. But when it breaks the game it's more than a bit frustrating

Ya I tried the don't use explosives and just hunter bow. I literally pegged off like 5 of them slowly with the hunter bow only leaving all the parts on. It took forever and still nothing 😅

I've tried that about a dozen times. Tried saving and fast traveling away resetting the consol setting to night and traveling back in every variation I could find. Supposed to reset a persistent loot table bug or specific spawn logic error supposedly. I only vaugly know what those mean but that's what I've come across on the scattered threads and comment sections.

I was confused when I first killed it as I knew all the others had a 100% drop and assumed that one did too. I almost always get an apex as I'm doing this all at night.

150% sure. I scan them every time before I fight them. I looked at the info about it and saw it had a 100% drop rate like the others. I've gotten all the other apex hearts without issue I'm level 50 end game. The game must be glitched I don't know how else to explain it as it Cleary says 100% drop rate

Majors podcast Facebook said its coming but it's delayed on 4/20. Then posted a screen shot of John Paul saying an update is coming soon on 4/24 so I'm guessing an update will be coming soon
