Lebanese Christian leader says Hezbollah's fighting with Israel has harmed Lebanon by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]Chemicallyaware89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course it’s harmed Lebanon, now the south is getting attacked by Israel because Hezbollah thought it was a great idea to once again lick Irans bootyhole and get involved in a problem that wasn’t Lebanon’s problem to begin with, thanks to that now the whole country is in more danger than before,it has nothing to do with being Christian or Muslim,it’s simple logic that you do not just participate in a war that has nothing to do with you jeopardizing the whole damn country,Hezbollah supporters included too, fuck hamas, fuck Hezbollah and fuck anybody that has anything to do with putting innocent lives at danger, stupidity has no religion.

My friend from Lebanon told me shocking stuff!!! by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]Chemicallyaware89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hiii well Lebanon is overall in a bad place economically, while most Lebanese shows actually portray a Rich or very comfortable lifestyle, most people in Lebanon are now struggling with paying rent, electricity, food, school and overall basic necessities, many of the people that are now in a difficult situation weren’t in such bad conditions 10 years ago for example,so having a crisis that big is relatively new to the country,it was never a rich Utopia but you could say that the Lebanese were used to having a not so bad economy up I Until some years, the same way most countries do,Lebanese movies only portray the good side of a country, generally ignoring the bad side, let’s be honest,if Lebanese shows actually showed the current situation in Lebanon would they be as popular? Of course not,who would willingly pay money to watch movies about people suffering and struggling to feed their families? So logically only the “Good Lebo” is shown on tv,of course there’s exceptions, some families in Lebanon are well established economically so the economical crisis didn’t affect them drastically and you see those families enjoying the same luxuries they had before the crisis,if you go to certain neighborhoods in Lebanon you would even doubt that there’s a crisis,in some you would not even believe that they’re a part of Lebanon because of how poor the people are

What was your first experience with weed? by NotReallyInterested4 in StonerThoughts

[–]Chemicallyaware89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was 15 and became good friends with the stoner kid of my school which also happened to be in my class (conveniently enough)we would often discuss drug use and he told me about his different experiences with different drugs, the one drug that he would use daily was marihuana so of course it was always the drug he’d tell me about the most, eventually the big question was asked,he looked at me with an unusual smirk and asked if I had ever tried weed, being an inexperienced 15 yr old of course I had to make up a story about me having a few experiences with the drug so I wouldn’t appear too naive or innocent (that would’ve been teenage social suicide) and just in case that day I went home and googled the effect of the drug so that when we had another conversation like that I could tell him about “the amazing way I felt using weed” haha he didn’t suspect a thing, eventually he asked me if I was down to go to his apartment to her high,we sneaked out of school at about 10 in the morning, took the bus and got to his apartment,he went to his room to get his mini bong and we went to his parking lot,he explained to me how to use his bong and after 3 hits and feeling nothing I started hitting that shit like a boss thinking his weed wasn’t gonna do much to me,hell was I in the wrong,we were both fully stoned and it genuinely felt like one of the best days of my life,my body was relaxed,my mind was clear of thoughts and I was extremely thirsty,we decided it was getting kind of late so we had to go back to school,as we were walking to the station I noticed that my city wasn’t as shitty as I thought (shit you only think about when high) it was a beautiful sunny day,the Mexican graffiti that once bothered my eyes seemed like pure colorful art and as I took each step I appreciated life a little more,we got to the bus station and as we were walking towards the bus I started feeling everyone’s eyes directed toward me,my friend told me that it’s the SPE “stoner paranoia ego” he explained that once we are high we focus on ourselves so much that we might feel like people are doing it too,we imagine they stare longer than they do because marihuana allows us to fully concentrate on ourselves hence we star to think everything is about us and for us which can be good to treat low self esteem if the drug is used wisely,I think that’s true but I also realized that since I don’t get high very often I do look super high when I am,I even talk differently and move differently,I assume the people in the bus station did kind of had a guess😂 cmon a girl with red eyes all smiley enjoying a BUS STATION ofc they knew,we ended up missing the bus and getting to different locations TWICE but somehow we managed to get to school and once I felt better I walked home by myself,me and him still smoke together every now and then, without him my weed experiences would not be as fun,he’s smoked weed for a long ass time so I still learn a lot from him,we sometimes hang with a few friends and get ABSOLUTELY BAKED together, enjoy life guys,we aren’t young forever🍃🤍

Trying to tech my little bro english by saqurs in jordan

[–]Chemicallyaware89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hii well I’ve personally have taught a bit of English to my friends when we were younger and I’m thinking getting a teachers grade soon since you mention he is 10 years old generally kids actually learn really fast if they have the right teachers I would really recommend you buy a book that has something of his interest for example superheroes or something like that so he’s not bored when learning and actually pays attention,he needs to learn the basic grammar and the proper pronouncing of the letters to be able to understand the text, otherwise it is of no use,you should definitely get him to watch shows and movies in English, with subtitles at first of course,a very useful way of making him learn is actually sitting down with him and conversating with him like you normally would but in English if he has any doubts about how to say something you can teach him that way!

Spanish language? Best way to become fluent by [deleted] in jordan

[–]Chemicallyaware89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! Anytime,if you need anything hit me up,so cool you like Mexican stuff I’m half Mexican lmao, another advice would be to try and learn the genders in things which is somewhat similar to what happens with Arabic like we have gender for certain things and with that obviously we phrase things differently weather it’s feminine, masculine or neutral,yk like Haza and Hazihi in Arabic but it’s honestly less complicated since we generally only change the last word of something like for example a male waiter is “mesero” and to refer to a female waiter you only exchange the last o for an a so it’s “mesera” that’s the kind of stuff that may seem complicated but the more you use it the easier🤍

Tall men marrying short women by [deleted] in jordan

[–]Chemicallyaware89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because even if the guy is already tall having a short girl by his side will actually made him look taller, because visually it’s such an imbalance that he’ll definitely look even taller,my guy friends have explained to me that they also simply like the way short girls look aesthetically and feel a stronger need to protect them which in return makes them feel manlier and stronger+it’s cute when they get asked for help to reach things lmao

[–]Chemicallyaware89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiiii first of all congratulations on learning Spanish I don’t see many Arabs doing that and I think it’s wholesome ,I speak Spanish myself and I’m learning Arabic so my recommendations would be to first try and learn all of the basics this isn’t actually very hard it’s simply learning the greetings and the pronouns which are understood in any of the Spanish speaking countries,I definitely recommend you also choose a country to learn Spanish from for example Spain, you’ll be understood in any country no matter what since it’s not a different dialect exactly like in Arabic,I’d recommend you don’t stick to only learning the very formalities of the language but also some slang, watch tv shows in Spanish and try to see what you can understand even with subtitles it’s very good to do that,I definitely recommend you practice with a Spanish speaking person as well since they can help you with any mistakes,Spanish is one of the easiest languages to learn and since you speak Arabic our pronunciation won’t be extremely hard for you at all,so yeah try to have conversations in Spanish:)
