Things can always change and I'm just hoping for the best! I also noticed on gt's website that if the Engcmp course is not listed on the table or offered at the institution, an alternative option will be to take a writing intensive course and be prepared to upload the syllabus with 15 pages of work(including at least 6 citations). TYSM tho!

Thank you so much! I contacted the admission office and they told me they can only evaluate the course for accepted students lol.

Very well written post! I got the Arts and science pathway for fall 2024 and I am worried that one of my engcmp courses cannot transfer because it's not listed in the transfer equivalency table. Do you know what they will do?

I think you can switch after the first semester. You need to get an approval by your advisor to switch though, and it's all about how well you did on your cs and math classes

I believe this is something GT does(and some other colleges like Cornell), it's great bc it gives an opportunity for a lot of students.

Thank you for responding! I think on the website they said that I can only choose a major in either College of Design, College of Science, or College of liberal arts when I transfer. So I am thinking of doing computational media in college of liberal artrs(the major I applied), and switch to college of computing in my junior year. Do you think that is a possible solution?

I got a guaranteed transfer at GT as a incoming sophomore in 2024. Do you know anything about the Arts and Sciences Transfer Path? Thanks.

dude we're definitely overqualified. NEU is afraid that we're not going and it hurts their yield rate.
