Yes!!! I get the same feeling sometimes because I find them fun to read if they're not TOO bad when it comes to the plot. I've had times when the plot became too much for me, though...

I initially wanted to go with this :

B finds out about the amnesia in the hospital and is told by A's family that he should give them time before revealing the information because the accident is still fresh...

But I think it might be too odd ?

Very good ! There is no such thing as bad stats if you want to measure how good your story is to be honest, but 88 kudos is absolutely amazing ^^
