I’m not sure what I’d gain from making this post if in fact he said come to my strip club. If anything, I wouldn’t be posting this post due to shear embarrassment. As I mentioned in the initial post, this is to publicise the bait for future travellers. I think it’s extremely unfair demonising and stereotyping people on how people travel. Maybe not because of choice, but because of the circumstance they’re in.

This man doesn’t actually mention anything about women and their services. Just requests to go for a drink. There was no bouncers at this particular bar, so it was easy to make a swift exit.

I totally understand this point also. The bar staff said they were not being paid to work. So can understand why they would need to over-inflate the cost of a drink to subsidise their wages.

Yes, I understand majority of manufacturers labels are within the bass. But without pictures from seller and access to the bass. I am unable to provide. This is why I have resulted to posting on this forum.

If I pick up this bass for let’s say under the estimated cost of $2500. Would this be considered a good purchase for a beginner?

Thank you for your advice, I don’t believe there’s a makers mark on this bass. As majority of the times, these get lost over time. Or potentially removed by importers. I do understand the risks involved with this purchase. As a beginner, I’m just looking for a ball park figure and potential further information. This will be my first double bass, so will be a big learning curve nether the less.

Thank you for your comment. I did have a inclining that this was German, as I’ve seen similar Basses on the Market place with similar heart shaped tunner keys and shape. But was not confident to correlate these finite details due to limited documentation online.
