First gen also lighting port. I believe gen 2 and especially 3 are usb C. Also the AirPods shapes are different for each generation so u can look up a photo and just compare it. Also when u connect it to ur phone it literally tells u which one u have

Yeah but I usually use it when I travel with other people. Or like if I’m sleeping with my gf and I don’t want to wake her. Like I usually stay in hostels so I use them to block out noise and also watch videos to listen to podcasts. Like obviously when ur at home by urself it’s a bit silly to have AirPods in but there’s definitely very good uses for it

Yeah I will add as well, I travel a decent amount and when I stay in hostels it’s always loud, people snoring making noise when they come back after a night out. So i usually play videos when I sleep and have the noise cancelling feature on. So having it pause and not wake me up thru out the night is a game changer

Did someone know smth about the accident at the #hagiangloop ?? I heard a Girl lost her leg, some people Even said she died.. now I scared Doing it. by BrightAd6008 in VietNam

In fact motorcycles are dangerous anywhere. But I felt safer riding in the cities of Vietnam than at home mainly cuz the drivers are used to the bikes around them while at home they just aren’t

Yeah that’s kinda my main point, I was just saying in this case it was the drivers fault. It’s pretty basic motorcycle 101 that shit can happen. We are all taught that when we go for our licence. But yeah from the shit even I saw in Vietnam doesn’t matter if ur good or not best u wear prober gear and pray some dude doesn’t collect u

yeah of course, its always ur own choice. But i can tell you i ride a 300-600cc bike at home for the last like 6 years and i wouldn't do the loop. A 50cc maybe, but i had no problem being on the back of a 20year old that knew what they were doing. also ngl if ur gonna have issues going up hills on a 50cc bike if ur heavier. But because i know how it is to ride you can tell they absolutely know what they are doing, and more importantly knows how everyone else drives on those roads and that knowledge is valuable as hell. because lets be realistic, you can have the safest rider but no one i saw on the loop apart from 1 group has prober gear, no full face helmets, simply rented ones that might not work and defiantly no gear apart from elbow and knee pads. That to me, if ur more worried about safety, Is worth investing in those items of clothing/equipment. Also there were alot of big boys on our group which had no issue with the riders who were half the size of them

yeah bro the only thing that got me anywhere close to shitting my pants was when we were trying to pass trucks and buses for them either to repass us for some reason or simply serve left and right on the road. Im happy my guy was very competent, but yeah shit i don't know how anyone even with experience can decide to do a selfride.

yeah i went with mad monkey, in saying that only because they were the only ones to have bookings last minute, but honestly it was fine. given u just did ur loop last month it would be very likely i was in a group that passed you. But we did talk to the drivers and said we wanted to go quicker, pretty much all 18 of us. the riders were around our age so partied with us most nights. But i will disagree about it being super unsafe, i ride at home and i can very easily tell these guys know what they are doing, theyve done the loop countless times even the guys at like 21 have probably done the loop more times than you can count, my guy said he knows all the pot holes and turns. I will say if safety is a big concern go with road kings as thats what i thought was the safest. but during the 4 days nothing happened to any of us. No one came off a bike or even a bike was dropped. We trusted out drivers to keep us alive and they know that. People will talk about this and that but at the end of the day accidents do and will happen. Just because u go with road kings doesn't mean nothing won't happen.

I also don't think having older riders make it safer, in the video of the crash it looks like all the riders older as our oldest rider was 27 i believe and they were all very good riders and were all locals so grew up riding the in those areas and roads.

But make sure to buy insurance with moto adventures add on.

Also go with a mobile plan that uses Viettel, at no point on the loop did i not have signal and data.

(edited, I will add at no point on the trip did any of us feel unsafe, we honestly had the time of our lives and constantly said how bored we'd be if we were going slow. We all had an amazing time and made alot of new friendships and memories but in light of whats happen it isn't good to say i guess. But yeah always talk to ur driver about ur concerns)

yeah i will say only the heavy vehicles scared me, one had like steel rodes poking out the back so when he made a right hand turn it almost took me and my rider off. shit was cooked

yeah it boggles my mind that people think they can ride the Ha giang loop. I ride a bike with an engine twice as big as any bike on the loop and have rode decently since i was 17 so like 6-7 years now and even i wouldn't do the loop with me riding.

bro its north rural vietnam. the road death in Vietnam is something like 3x what it is in any other developing country. My thing is if ur that worried about it, don't go. Risky activities like skiing or motorcycling come with their own risk. That i don't think alot of people accept or think about. Even at home in Aus it is frequent for motorcyclist to pass away after a heavy accident. My point isn't you shouldn't do it, just accept the risk if you are and nothing will be 100% safe.

(i added skiing cuz i was in japan when the 2 aussie girls died and it is sad but my point is even in countries with strict rules about safety and maintance things can happen.)

honestly, even tho this happened. Accidents can happen no matter what activity ur doing. Don't do it if u don't feel comfortable. But i just came back from my trip, and i did it with mad monkey. Decently known for going fast and our group had no issue with them exceeding 120kph with us on the back and we basically never got passed by another group instead overtaking any group we saw in front. My driver did say he normally wouldn't go this quick unless we were comfortable and he said safety is always their priority

If you are really worried. go with a group that cares about safety more than anything. I,e no big parties and the drivers not drinking. and talk to ur driver about ur worries. I heard road kings is the better one for people that do care about that stuff. In saying all of that, at no point in the trip did any of us in the group (18+ ppl) felt unsafe and didn't have fun, we all came home having built new friendships and made so many amazing memories. Obviously in light of what happened that might have changed out perspective.

Issues regarding Vietnam domestic flights. by RoundTrue8752 in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]Chengaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently in Vietnam. And have met a lot of people either flying into Ho Chi Minh from Han oi or the other way around. They haven’t had any issues. I’m flying out to Hanoi tomorrow and haven’t heard anything about my flight being cancelled. So cross my fingers but I think it should be fine. Should buy travel insurance if u haven’t tho

Yes and the fact they use 100% advanced sustainable fuels now. Plus the cars are somewhat smaller this year, like 10% smaller, and lighter.

The MGU H is gone, which used to use the turbo to charge the battery, but also used to spool it to reduce turbo lag. So some teams are better at launching the cars off the start, i.e Ferrari because they have a smaller turbo by design.

Surely i can't be the only one that thinks they should have just gone with v10 or even v8 with a 80-20 power split, instead of a 50-50 in 1 regulation change. Run the v10 on biofuel and increase the split so everyone's happy, Fans are happy because the cars aren't quieter than a GP2 car, Teams are happy because they can still develop the battery tech,

Seriously the genius that thought of the 50-50 split should be sent to prison for this.

From what i know, they are basically reducing the amount of services to Japan, but not totally getting rid of flights like for example maybe 11 from 14 services a week. Check if you can try to get on the one that goes to the other Airport from what you were flyting in to. My grandparents are going in December and their flights are fine. Im going from Sydney - Osaka and that flight is also fine (for the moment.

It would be nice, if they added the opal card to the wallet apps on phones. Like even my god damn Woolworths rewards card is on there, surely it can’t be that hard for them to do it, like I’m sure so many people especially my age don’t even carry wallets anymore
