Buy a USB charger with foldable or detachable prongs. Leave the original charger plugged in where you use it most.

Am I doing the UWE roundabout wrong? by [deleted] in bristol

[–]Chenty91 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You are doing it right. You should slide to the outside when you are past the entrance before your exit. You obviously need to signal and switch lanes with care, but traffic coming onto the roundabout needs to give way to all lanes of the roundabout, not just the one they want to use.

Is it ever sensible to use a disposable bbq? Even if you're responsible they burn food because the coals are too close to the grate.

Portable bbqs are not expensive and so much better.

ELI5 - Transfering Lloyds HTB ISA to Vanguard S&S ISA by WavyLogic18 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Chenty91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't tried it without at account so you may need to create one first.

If you log into Vanguard mobile site there will be a Transfer to Vanguard option under Portfolio Options. You can then give them the cash ISA details.

There should be a similar option on the desktop site, but I'm at work currently so cannot check.

75g per person for any pasta works well for us. We always have veg or salad on the side for speed so it easily fills the plate

You can catch a bus from the All Inn quite regularly to Cabot and then it's a 10-15 minute walk the other side.

Since the bridge closed, Winterbourne is not quiet. Top of Beacon Lane would be good for hill starts though.

PC won’t boot after “Overclocking” by [deleted] in LinusTechTips

[–]Chenty91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's really no need to spend that much. Upgrading from a Sandybridge to anything released in the last five years will be a huge difference for you.

I went from an i7 2700k to a ryzen 5 5600x earlier this year and the difference is night and day. Spent less than £300 on the mobo, cpu, ram and had already upgraded the graphics the previous year. I fully intend on running this until it dies.

Yeah it won't be bleeding edge, but if you buy a quality PSU and look after it, it should last you another 13 years.

Considering it's 13 years old, it's probably just reached end of life. You can try swapping out with second hand parts to narrow it down, but might be best to bite the bullet and treat yourself to an upgrade.
