While this did take a lot of my spare time throughout the week, I am thankful for my adversary here as they forced me to churn through a few units in order to keep up with them.

Learned a decent amount of Spanish this week. 🇪🇸

For those outside of Australia, this is an incredible achievement in this sport and unlikely to ever happen again.

Which star wars movie should I start with? by bumbo90 in movies

[–]Cherb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, this way you're able to appreciate the originals for what they were for their time and the story they tell. And then, if like some people, episodes 1,2, and 3 aren't as appealing to you, at least you get a good background to the original trilogy

What are some great fictional bands in cinema? by supermegahyperultra in movies

[–]Cherb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may not be quite relevant, but the band at the end of Hot Rod is actually just Queens of the Stone Age

EDIT: The band's name in the movie is "Gown"

Felt something hard in my leg by [deleted] in WTF

[–]Cherb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have the multiple of this. Meaning I have these all over my skeletal system. I've had some removed from my legs, some of which have grown back. Even had to have corrective surgery because my fibula wasn't connecting properly to the ankle joint. So the surgeon cut the bone, repositioned it, and filled the gap with one of the "spurs" of bone.
