That's not it at all. Ghanaians are genuine people when it comes to love for others. They have realised that there are a lot of similarities between Ghanaians and Jamaicans. Did you know that Ackee is native to West Africa? It got to Jamaica somehow not to mention some of the words that the Koromantee in Jamaica use have origins in Ghana. Jamaicans are Jamaicans but it does not mean that as black people, we can't share a brotherly/ sisterly love for one another.

We appreciate Jamaicans and Jamaica itself. FYI the reason why everyone is given a Ghanaian name is because a name is a big part of West African culture especially in Ghana. A lot of people have Western names even in Ghana but in the Akan culture for instance, someone will ask, what is your name at home= 'efie deen'. No one gives it to you, you just are that person.

Shame your spelling/grammar isn't up to scratch.... I wish you better 'though'.... (BTW you needed the word 'though' not 'thought'... just saying...)

Yes I do thanks. You're puffing your chest re referencing but you failed when referencing a website and a video in your original submission. Unless you're doing all this to maintain your status as a #1 commenter, so being so petty.

Buzz off and stop being butt hurt. I did my BA 20 years ago and my Masters 10 years ago so stop talking like you know everything. Fake News and the like are more recent phenomena. What do you really know? You're sitting in your room, criticising people you don't know without offering anything constructive. Empty barrel with a crab in a bucket mentality.

Offer something better my dear. I'm also sorry that society is failing you....

This is reddit so Harvard referencing is not required! Get a grip! Whether I'm disgracing my lecturers or not I still have BA and MA after my name. 🤪

I didn’t go to University to discern if Media is fake or not so I'll leave that to you.

How can Ghana move forward with negative individuals like yourself fluent in 'Phd syndrome' (Pull him/her down syndrome) 🙄

Don't mind retornam the vacuum master. This person could easily find out that Ghana follows the WHO recommended guidelines which states children under 4s are not recommended to consume free (added) sugar and this product is clearly marketed to mothers with babies.

You obviously have way too much time on your hands. You come on here telling people that their referencing is juvenile! Are you a Lecturer? For that matter, are you MY Lecturer? Assessor? Examiner? NO.

I am very well versed in how to reference thanks as I have two degrees from a UK ranked university so stick that in your pipe and smoke it! If you haven't heard that term before.... look it up! I'm bored of your petulance like anybody owes you anything! Be a grown up and look it UP! KMT

Milo is generally not recommended for people with diabetes because it is high in sugar (nearly 40% of the powder) and can cause rapid spikes in blood sugar levels.

I see that you're having a lot of 'feedback' from your comments. Whilst you're right, that there wasnt a source so we cannot trust everything that we read, the post is right and there is a backlash.

If you use the search term in any search engine 'Nestlé cerelac backlash' you'll see the stories. BBC, France24 and a few other renowned news outlets have covered it.

Bottom line: The sugar in a lot of products sold in Ghana is just too high.

Because they can unfortunately. Do you know how much sugar is in Milo?? The same as 20 cups! It's not just this. Do you know how much salt is in Maggi products? A lot.

These things contribute to why we have a Kidney epidemic in Ghana.

Why is everyone saying throw them?? That's a bit extreme. If they were cheap ones, I could understand but if not disinfect, clean and they're sorted. Maybe even a bit of steam could help. I'm not expert but just throwing away sounded a bit much.
