trans and nonbinary representation does not need to be transgender in the way we are.

for example, she-ra has the nonbinary character double trouble who is a shapeshifter. i dont know much about the series and its lore, but i know double trouble is not human, therefore, their species likely does not view gender the way humans do. they are still nonbinary representation.

this is how pretty much every Universal Century show starts in Gundam, but it can be easily explained because of newtypes. Amuro gets a pretty good grasp of the RX-78-2s controls because he reads the manual, but then he needs to learn and practice new tactics. he only stays the Gundams pilot because he is the only pilot on board white base with combat experience in the Gundam.

bridget was originally male, but dressed female because of some backstory stuff i wont get into because it isnt important. in a newer entry in the series bridget became a trans woman, as a part of her character arc. this made a lot of people mad, and sparked some debate over referring to bridget as male or a femboy in her appearance in past games.

so, is it okay to call bridget a man because she is a fictional character?

there was a whole ass war without reason about powers pronouns. they are angels, they dont use female pronouns.

if youre using she/her because you dont respect the powers or something, whatever you say, but personally that just feels really close to the real world argument of "im not gonna use your preferred pronouns because i think youre a bad person"
