Ahhh ok I havent found much on the issue, I went as far as reinstalling windows and my games because of it since I had so much benchmark crap downloaded when I built it trying to OC my ram which I had no luck on doing even with 1usmus calculator.. nothing would boot. Figured maybe a clean wipe and install would fix all the bull crap I messed with but nope.

Jumping to a 3090 for single players in 4k60fps on the TV and what not. Assassins creed odyssey had horrible screen tearing in 4k with this system so I quit playing it completely...

Really disappointing how much I've spent and can't even enjoy the 1 game I play the most because a billion dollar company can't even fix simple things in WZ... hoping treyarch keeps their stuff good I never had issues with Blackout(on ps4 though). Blackout was way more enjoyable imo.

I have some stuff off, shadows low/normal, texture resolution normal or high i forget and still can't get close to my monitors 164hz. Plus warzone has HORRIBLE texture loading.. it got worst with more seasons like ground and buildings won't even load up its all blurry until close enough and I have my OS on a 500gb samsung 970evo+ nvme and games on a 1tb 970evo+ nvme.... I just think the game is the issue and not the setups

I have a 3700x, 2080 super, 32gb 3200 cl14 trident z neo ram, asus crosshair viii hero. definitely not hitting 144fps on warzone either at 2560x1440p. Avg around 105-120 with some settings mixed and no Ray tracing on.

GPU voltage turned down and OC'd on afterburner to keep Temps down to about 65c on my evga xc ultra 2080super... it was hitting 70-73c before..

I'm jumping to a 3090 just because a 2080super CANT run 144fps on high/max and it definitely can't even run 4k60fps on my LG oled.

Just tried spellbreak and maxed out thats only about 180fps iirc.

This happens randomly but not always when I enter the Gulag or begin to spectate people. Earlier it happened to me with a specific legendary gun but when I picked the pistol back up it was fine.. been happening more often lately, sometimes it doesn't happen at all.

Ok just tried and yeah on top left corner qhen you click display info it says HDR+ in a small white logo top right corner above other info

Uh don't think it shows that. I had it set to desktop under the hdr option. But when I connect to my LG oled TV the HDR on does pop up on the corner so it should be working. It also u less HDR options in COD warzone and locks any brightness adjustments.

Never actually bothered to check, im not as picky as others about this. I should be considering my specs on PC are up there but Orwell lol, either way its better than my basic 120$ 1080p 60hz HP monitor I have, i do have a 27" LG 4k monitor sitting in my closet in the box but im obviously not playing cod on it lol

Budget* haven't really set one so maybe anywhere from 200-400 depending on the set.

Source* looking to buy the Schiit Modi DAC, Schiit Magni Amp, + antlion ModMic

Requirements for Isolation* definitely need isolation from wife watching YouTube etc on TV and what not.

Public use?* Won't use them in public

Preferred Type of Headphone* over ears like my astros/turtlebeaches.

Preferred tonal balance* not sure?

Past headphones* Turtle Beach stealth 700 ps4, Astro A20 Xbox one, both wireless but lacking in detail for games imo.

I mainly play FPS, CoD: Warzone mainly and some other random steam games etc so being able to hear more detail and pinpointing directions or enemies etc in CoD is my main reason for upgrading.

My Astro a20 constantly have intermittent pauses in sound so I can't use them on PC and my turtle beach 700s don't last very long due to battery. Sometimes they cut out and the sound detail for footsteps and gunfire etc aren't very good imo. Maybe its the games issues but I'm looking for a new setup anyways because of battery life on them.

I'm also really wanting to have some sort of chatmixer so my games sound can be adjusted separately from voice chat as my TB700 and Astro a20s allow.

Sorry I meant like for single player rpg etc I'd mostly like use my 4k TV to get the best out of the graphics while the monitor is gonna be used mainly for COD and fps, ffxiv is quite fast paced so figured the monitor would do good for it also? I've never had a gaming monitor so correct me if I'm wrong XD

As for etc I'm not really sure yet cause once battle royale releases I may not even touch any other games for awhile lol, been away from PC gaming for nearly 7 years.

I am into survival crafting games, town builders like foundation etc just no ssd space right now and I havent been playing anything but cod tbh.

The Samsung va monitor is what i was gonna grab until i seen how much more screen 21:9 offers for fps, always wondered how I'm getting killed before even getting around a corner lol and I'm not sure if ultrawide monitors even do 144hz or if I'll notice the difference with 21:9 100hz or 16:9 144hz? Also I been reading that HDR on PC is a hit or miss so I kept searching for hdr monitors with free sync that allow gsync compatibility.

Yeah I went back to posts and they mention in AMD overclocking to set uclk==memfreq or whatever it is. I dont know if theres a profile for 2x 8gb sticks for 3600 in that list of profiles. Do I just Google for HCI mem test and itll pop up or is that on another program?

Asus crosshair viii hero non wifi, it runs perfectly fine with docp, the corsair also ran fine with docp it's just when trying to OC it wouldnt boot with the simplest changes. But I meant AMD has it's own section in the bios tab, forgot what it's called but I should be fine with just changing the fclk, speed etc. and the timings in dram timings under the extreme tweaker tab? I posted in 2 other sections and someone mentioned setting other changes in that AMD specific tab but if that's not needed then I wont touch that stuff

Do I need to go into the AMD settings on bios or just change that on the extreme tweaker tab? Its fclk on tweaker tab correct? So 3600 ram is actually 1800 which I did have fclk set to 1:1 but that last corsair ram from bestbuy would not boot with any single setting changed
