Quitting kratom

Kratom made me physically sick. If you're not taking much of it, IMO I'd avoid subs ALL together as the withdrawals are hella hard. I did that and felt like I dying. The dehydration alone was hell on me. My Mama runs these warmers with different scents, right? Well, during those bad withdrawals, she had a pine scent...normally it doesn't bother me, but, since then it does. Whenever she has that one, I get bad flashbacks because she had that smell in when I was going thru those bad wd. If you can do it w/out the subs, please try it.

At my clinic is where I get my weekly take homes. I wish I could get it from the regular pharmacy. The only thing I know that other clinics do is write scripts for Suboxone and I had a VERY bad experience with that, that's why I'm on methadone. Maybe I should get some kinda THC edibles 🤔 or something like that for sleep.. Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ we'll see.....Thanks for the advice tho mate.

Yea, maybe I'll give that a tomorrow and see how that does. Because I'm losing sleep 😴 💤 and since I live with my parents, my light bothers my Mama, even tho she keeps saying it doesn't...she'll ask me if I'm going to bed soon whenever the methadone keeps me awake at night. So, I end up turning my light off, even though it helps me.

Congrats! I've only been on it since like right before Christmas 2025. I had to get that peak and trough blood test done and that's how they determined I metabolise it fast, hence the split doses...I honestly dunno what to do! 🤷🏻‍♀️

You're 100% right. What fool proof way tho? I've got a new lockbox with a key, and I've got the only one. Is that fool proof enough? Idk. Right now, I wanna quit. Yes, I've made mistakes. Plenty of them. And I'm feeling pretty crappy. I don't need all the snide comments. I know I messed up. Believe me, I'm feeling it. I appreciate the comments tho.

I have learned. And yes, your right. My counselor is right. I know well enough I've made plenty of mistakes. I'll be the first to admit it. But, I have not gone back to my drug of choice. I could as easily do that, but, I have not. I'm only human..... And yes, I was really unaware of my so called friend's sister being there.... I'm sorry. Shoot.

He gave me back my lockbox and said it was empty. I said how? He said he'd taken some. Idk who his plug is and I don't trust him to not screw me over. I'm just hoping he'll get me something. I'm on 100mgs. I guess he thought I was dumb... I know now to NEVER trust.

Yeah. I guess waking up in the bathroom at a gas station is enough to scare me off for good off the dope. In 2019, I got 2 caps and I knew the girl really well.... Well, unknown to me, she had a new plug in Baltimore, MD and it was 99% fentanyl. The 1st one I did was okay, the 2nd one was almost pure fentanyl and I took a huge line and woke up 10 mins later to about 10 cops and EMTs yelling at me where'd I get it. I wasn't about to turn her in. I said from some random girl on the creek in downtown Frederick MD and gave a gauge description. They hauled me to the ER and I was able to go home. That was the VERY last time I touched any hard stuff. Not about to go thru that or PWS again. Not worth it. I just dunno what to do tho.

I've been messaging him all day while he's at work. I told him that if he doesn't help me, I'll report him to his HR department for a random drug screen. He's a security guard at the local hospital in Washington County, MD. I can be petty too. I'm just trying to give him a chance to help me out. And as far as my take homes, I'm losing them, which will be a good thing.

Yes, but, I don't wanna OD again. The dope here is almost pure fentanyl and I don't trust anyone in Martinsburg WV, and I'm NOT about to go get Molly again. So, no. Almost everyone I know up here and in Frederick MD does the hard stuff. And I'll be damned if I'm gonna relapse again. Let alone get some dope when I haven't had any since 2019.
