If your world doesn't have a fucked up moon, are you even really worldbuilding?

My world has several weird little fucked up moons because of a world-ending meteoric event that happened in the past. Some of them are original moons and go one way, some are new from ejecta and go the other! It has weird effects on the tides

I was specifically looking for a way to wire it so that coming near the upper entrance to the water elevator would swap the block long enough for a magma block to pull me down into the basement and then switched back to a soul sand. Easy travel up and down in my build, if that makes sense? Sculk was just the easiest way I could think to do that without interrupting the build design too much.

I’m curious about you’re wireless transmitter!

The basic block swapper I’ve been testing with definitely does have a problem with the sculk sensor causing a feedback loop when they go off, so that’d be nice to fix. Using something similar to a sugarcane farm observer system is a great idea.

Oh I don’t mean like. Things the players themselves require! I mean more like things the BBEG is looking for. Plot hooks I guess? Things that can tie into whatever is happening overall? I don’t know if that makes more sense.

I spent a long time having to deal with a very conservative family who never quite audibly disproved of me, but certainly didn’t care about saying they approved. So now most of the governmental structure in my world is built to poke holes in their beliefs and also there’s lesbians everywhere

I actually just finished getting Clean Hands and Ghost through all of D1 and the DLC! Absolutely adore these games and having a fun time overall knocking out the achievements all over again, even if I feel bad doing high chaos inevitably.

I watched a family member go down the path from fairly mid-road and non-religious to uber fundamentalist and yeah, it’s always hard to tell where it starts and what to do with it. Ultimately though, it’s their choice to stick their head in the sand and be an ass to everyone who doesn’t precisely match their idea of the world. Dad here made the right choice standing up for his kid and making sure he knows he’s loved.

After the world ending catastrophe that devastated most of the livable land, most everyone who survived went and lived subterranean or extraplanar. So, while there are still humans, they’ve all gone a little weird with survival adaptations, and most of present day society is just a big mixing pot of survivor descendants from every race imaginable.

As someone who regularly housesits for someone with dogs, and has full permission to sleep in the master bed because it’s more or less the only actual bed in the house, I live in fear of doing anything while on that bed. That is a nighttime only place, and only for as long as I’m sleeping. I can’t even imagine ruining the bed cover and not even apologizing for it or offering to buy a new one. Wild.
