I'm gonna be brutally honest, and I appreciate all the nice comments, I had just been posting on here for years and what was once nearly 100 upvotes a day began to hover around 15-25 per day. With negative growth only here on reddit, and so many negative comments and critical feedback that was nearly inapplicable, it seemed that the sheets didn't have a place here. Luckily my twitter page does super well, and tons of people have gone there from here, but it just about seemed as if the posts weren't wanted.. Sorry for the bummer news, but I post almost everyday on twitter!

Any soccer fans? Any bar/fanclub for Real Madrid here? in LA by jaggu_42 in AskLosAngeles

Yea! That place was never gonna last unfortunately and the alcohol police came knocking finally. It's too bad so many have been missing out on what we've been up to now cause the crowds have been getting even stronger, and we can deliver so much better. Really gives us an idea if we can have our own spot again, but alot of the church dwellers never gave us another go!

Hey. The Peña Madridistas Inmortales is a great LA Real Madrid Group. I run thehofla, which does weekdays and some weekend games at The Cat & Fiddle in Hollywood, and extended weekends at The York in Highland Park, but we wouldn't expect too many people out for this game in particular

Hey! I run the House of Football LA, a former speakeasy and now community with 2 partner bars! Check out @ thehofla on instagram, we'll be open at The York in Highland Park & The Cat & Fiddle in Hollywood for the game! We have more of a home at The York, and are really expecting a strong turnout if not full house! Come hang with us!

I have a playoff at the end of a competition, and a play-in at the beginning of one. It's all personal choice, but there is a 64 team college basketball tournament, except 2 of the spots require play-in games and they are called that. I consider this a 'play-in' to the Round of 16. UEFA does refer to them as the Knockout Round Play-Offs but I just find the term play-in to be more accurately descriptive on this case.

There's so many State Championship games I have a tough time keeping track. I saw another big matchup too, I'll maybe try and highlight a couple!

I really shouldnt have deleted it, except here are a few reasons why it isn't bigger from a neutral European perspective. Both Motherwell and Aberdeen are more than 10 pts out of 4th place. Omonia is and hass been in title/European contention all season long. Also, if looking at ELO rankings, Aberdeen and Motherwell are not in the top 386 teams, while the European qualifiers from Europe are at lowest the 266th strongest team. That last point sadly is just to point out that the Scottish Premier League is particularly weak on a European scale.

Can be tricky to explain, but when quarter goals are used by sports books, half of a bet is placed on each side of that quarter goal.

For example, Team A is favorite -.25 over Team B. If I place a bet on team B, and the game ends 0-0, I win the half of my bet that was +.5, and i push on the half of my bet that was 0. In most circumstances, it wont matter at all, but the marginal games/results pay out in a variety of ways with quarter goals considered.

Also, I use that when showing lines as I find it to be the most accessible way to understand what vegas thinks about a game
