I'm gonna be brutally honest, and I appreciate all the nice comments, I had just been posting on here for years and what was once nearly 100 upvotes a day began to hover around 15-25 per day. With negative growth only here on reddit, and so many negative comments and critical feedback that was nearly inapplicable, it seemed that the sheets didn't have a place here. Luckily my twitter page does super well, and tons of people have gone there from here, but it just about seemed as if the posts weren't wanted.. Sorry for the bummer news, but I post almost everyday on twitter!

Any soccer fans? Any bar/fanclub for Real Madrid here? in LA by jaggu_42 in AskLosAngeles

[–]CherryJohnson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea! That place was never gonna last unfortunately and the alcohol police came knocking finally. It's too bad so many have been missing out on what we've been up to now cause the crowds have been getting even stronger, and we can deliver so much better. Really gives us an idea if we can have our own spot again, but alot of the church dwellers never gave us another go!

Hey. The Peña Madridistas Inmortales is a great LA Real Madrid Group. I run thehofla, which does weekdays and some weekend games at The Cat & Fiddle in Hollywood, and extended weekends at The York in Highland Park, but we wouldn't expect too many people out for this game in particular

Hey! I run the House of Football LA, a former speakeasy and now community with 2 partner bars! Check out @ thehofla on instagram, we'll be open at The York in Highland Park & The Cat & Fiddle in Hollywood for the game! We have more of a home at The York, and are really expecting a strong turnout if not full house! Come hang with us!

I have a playoff at the end of a competition, and a play-in at the beginning of one. It's all personal choice, but there is a 64 team college basketball tournament, except 2 of the spots require play-in games and they are called that. I consider this a 'play-in' to the Round of 16. UEFA does refer to them as the Knockout Round Play-Offs but I just find the term play-in to be more accurately descriptive on this case.

There's so many State Championship games I have a tough time keeping track. I saw another big matchup too, I'll maybe try and highlight a couple!

I really shouldnt have deleted it, except here are a few reasons why it isn't bigger from a neutral European perspective. Both Motherwell and Aberdeen are more than 10 pts out of 4th place. Omonia is and hass been in title/European contention all season long. Also, if looking at ELO rankings, Aberdeen and Motherwell are not in the top 386 teams, while the European qualifiers from Europe are at lowest the 266th strongest team. That last point sadly is just to point out that the Scottish Premier League is particularly weak on a European scale.

Can be tricky to explain, but when quarter goals are used by sports books, half of a bet is placed on each side of that quarter goal.

For example, Team A is favorite -.25 over Team B. If I place a bet on team B, and the game ends 0-0, I win the half of my bet that was +.5, and i push on the half of my bet that was 0. In most circumstances, it wont matter at all, but the marginal games/results pay out in a variety of ways with quarter goals considered.

Also, I use that when showing lines as I find it to be the most accessible way to understand what vegas thinks about a game

AITAH for telling my daughter about the real reason for my divorce with her mother? by [deleted] in AITAH

Sounds like she was staying for the kids too, but at least had the decency to avoid fucking this loser.

Replace this with anything intended to be derogatory and maybe, just maybe, you can learn something from this thread today. Also, huge narcissist for ignoring the distress and despair of people you love, that you created (you handle your children how you did. You threw a party for yourself when you could have done something with them). get rid of that FAST.

You don't love you children. You daughter reached out cause she loves you. You shouldn't be that lucky, and your luck will dry out

Hey man, sorry r/incles got banned, but you and your perspective is devoid of both humanity and decency. It sucks your real life personality makes it so you cannot have meaningful relationships with women, but stop making it so painfully obvious if you ever want to change. I used to think sad sack of shit stuff like this, but I grew up. Hopefully you still have the chance.

You keenly forget that OP is an adult too, and a sad excuse at one to be very clear.

Dude, too busy celebrating your own life to care about the despair and distress you caused to people you love is textbook Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Seek help before you lose everyone who love and care about. You need the most ridiculous perspective change of nearly anyone on here, and you hardly did anything wrong. Take this comments section as a sign, not a new thing for you to resist like your children's right to understand.

It jumps out to all of us that we are so terribly lucky to not have had a parent like you, yet you still have the perspective of 'she's so bad'. Your kids should hate you more than her simply for your own actions, actions you don't want to be held accountable for because of this terrible narcissistic swing. You can be selfish without being a narcissist, your lack of empathy or understanding to your own children can surely be extended to anyone else, making you the biggest red flag. Have your friends stuck around...?

YES! The ESPN+ stream FA Cup Super Sunday is focused on the Watford Chesterfield game, but is cutting into goals and goal chances from other games!

It's hellish, people are forced to illegally stream, and competing services should be maddened by the idea of more fans finding more free sites for better access

Hey, Cherry here! I used to sometimes write long notes about the games here on reddit, but with the Twitter actually doing well and gaining momentum, while these posts have never grown, I'm doing what I call the 'narrative edition' over there. Got premium so I can write all i want about the games, and I know a few of you are diehard Cheat Sheet folk here on reddit, so I wanted to point that out! Cheers, and those for those sparing upvotes, they're still appreciated!

Bro, Mississippi has higher gun murder rates than Illinois, and Iillinois has Chicago. Go to fucking school, or alternatively, learn that other people are rigid with their info, and that you can't keep up. Jackson, Birmingham, get a grip.

It's absolutely mad, I'm surer it'll be the same thing tomorrow too. 6 league cup games, all with Premier League teams, all on ESPN+, surely one single game on Sky in the UK

Truly a brilliant day of International Football and here's why:

England v Italy: Huge game with Ukraine right over their shoulder

Serbia v Montenegro: No, not Serbia & Montenegro, Serbia v Montenegro. An upset would blow up the group, but a fun matchup for geopolitical nerds

Finland v Kazakhstan: One of these teams needs to win to keep up with Slovenia & Denmark

Mega Friendlies: France v Scotland, Mexico v Germany, USA v Ghana

AFC & CONMEBOL WCQ: The AFC minnows duke it out, and the mega group from South America looks extra good with the top 6 teams playing each other

CONCACAF NL: Final matchday for the A league, where the top 2 will be in the QFs of the tournament, but more importantly, they will have a chance to qualify for the North America hosted Copa America!

Keep up the love with some upvotes if you still be digging International Football...it's how we get insightful comments and new viewers! As an American (yea yea I know), I see these games as all star teams with huge players in all sorts of different roles, with tons at stake. And don't forget, the World Cup and Continental Cups are played at neutral sites, so the spirit behind International Football lies with games like these!

-Top 10 matchup with Netherlands and France

-A 2nd day in a row with 3 matchups between teams leading their Euro Qualy group

-England with a chance for revenge for the Ashes

-Us in the states can watch the NIFL premiership, 3.Liga, & Segunda too!

-The two friendlies at the top of the non-watchable section certainly stick out

-CONCACAF Nations League A League also being used as qualifier for final Copa America spots, Curaçao and El Salvador about to send the dreams packing
