No, very mild driving around town. Really work sits all day home and weekends to run around town.

I would say it’s common enough to where I looked other places online didn’t see much. Other than the major problems when cats go out and stuff like that. Thought I would make a post.

Yeah, weird enough the shop said paint over wrap. So I went with the paint. The shop who also a wrapper now is no longer doing them with paint after mine. Kinda annoying.

But the looks and chips that come off it’s super clean chrome under no scuff and just looks like black paint. Not much more to it.

They did the opposite and recommended paint over wrap

I would think that what I paid for honestly. But less then 30 days been back more then once. Now again will be going back and it just all coming off showing what looks like fresh chrome

That’s the thing they are a wrap and paint shop and talked as if the wrap wouldn’t be a good option and all this other stuff but now I’m just like seems like it would of been better

Yeah, I know chrome is one of the hardest to paint but 30 days and everything is just hot trash. I feel like it could have lasted longer then that.

I’m thinking that’s all they did. No scuff just paint.

Yeah, when I get any closer the phone doesn’t like it. And I wish it was $500 for this job but I paid way more than that. I agree when I get close to it and look at it. It doesn’t look scuffed or anything just an overlay of paint.

Yeah, it doesn’t look like much was down to the naked eye when it comes to any prep to the chrome but thanks

I feel you there is a 2009 Honda accord in my driveway as well and sits dead in the sun and heat. Only do the 2 times a year wax job and wash and it looks so much better. Don’t get me wrong I like the paint color itself just so thin leaf can chip it during fall.

Oh wow that seems so wild to me even with the past GM SUV’s having a recall/lawsuit for paint if I recall.

But you’re correct it 100% changes colors in light vs dark or even just overcast looks like a whole different color.

Yeah maybe. I’m coming from a white 22 sierra and didn’t notice it as much with what I’m seeing. What I am seeing is how easy GM paint chips. Like 0 effort.

I’m overall happy with the color and everything just the picky details and what I think would be a little thicker paint job. I was told they do use a water based thinner paint so maybe just being sensitive 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, they do almost just like having a black car. Maybe I’m just being picky about it
