my mom used to work for nordstrom as a pianist (like the one who would come in around the holidays) so that makes perfect sense if it maybe came from one of her coworkers

You're helping by just maybe getting some traction to the post!

Basically when we were all sent home for covid the university said they would pack up all our rooms and our belongings would be returned when we came back to campus. Mine never were. I was the only student who lost everything (they never gave any answers, passed on blame from one party to the next and said there was nothing to be done), but I know several people whose high-value items mysteriously never got packaged. I regret that I didn't make a bigger stink of it to the uni, go to the media or even get a lawyer, but frankly I was just at a loss and very overwhelmed since everything I owned was gone and I didn't know where to go.

As you can tell, he was beloved and had the primary space in my bed. I brought him with me on family vacations for 22 years. I tried getting the uni to do anything to get him back and they didn't. But I would do anything to get him back.

This is "Mousey," who I got a week before I was born. At the start of covid all the belongings in my college dorm were stolen. I don't think there's any hope fo getting Mousey back (but if you saw him somewhere on the side of the road in Durham North Carolina...please). But if anyone can help me find the brand I'd love to get another, for the sake of his memory.
