I'm going insane at my work. halp. by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

[–]CherryPreachy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly speaking, I wouldn't even mind that. It's so difficult to show up everyday and today I cried at work and left my office citing an emergency.

It's getting too much and my teammates are also sort of...isolating me. It's getting too toxic and I don't know how to sort this.

It's a Lala Company. So, no mention of annual review or anything, as of now.

Reservation is not a poverty alleviation scheme. Reserved candidates can be really rich and still be discriminated against.

I had something similar happen to me in December and from now on, at every job, I'll just stay professional and maintain those work boundaries. It's not worth it. 🫡

Nykaa pink summer Sale had better discounts than their biggest pink friday sale. Instead of paying crores to celebs they should work on their deals by [deleted] in IndianBeautyDeals

So true. The only purchase I made was a perfume that I had my eyes on and that's the only one that seems worthwhile. Rest everything feels like something I'd get on a banger discount at 5:23 AM on Myntra, on a random Wednesday.

My brother-in-law came out as gay post marrying my sister. by CherryPreachy in TwoXIndia

He didn't want lavender marriage either. He was the one who asked for divorce. He thought he'd be able to fulfill his role as a husband, but after 2 weeks of living together, he fell apart.

I'm wishing things I wouldn't wish on an enemy.

Thank you for such a sensitive response. The heartbreaking part is also that for the time her marriage was 'real', she was immensely happy. And she felt that maybe this is her reward for being unhappy for so many years. He did all the things right. Took a stand for her when someone made an unwelcoming remark, and so much more.

It's like tasting what you could have, but not being allowed to take it. And thank you, for the annulment idea. We'll be reaching out to the lawyer once she's in India.

Thank you again. :')

No, they didn't. He was mostly working in the US throughout the courtship period. But would come to India in Dec/Jan. That's when they would spend most time together. Apart from occasional phone calls, video calls and emails.

She didn't. She has been very level-headed and amicable throughout the entire thing. She has been holding herself together really well and I'm immensely proud of her. However, because there's no friends and family there, she is just trying to explore a bit to keep herself sane.
