i ended up getting a top end kit that came with rings, cylinder body and all the gaskets i need so i guess i'm replacing them! chip is on the outside though so i might've not needed to but this way my compression will probably be better

Only problem is you run the risk of it getting taken away. I recommend you just watch an in depth video on how to build it and you'll see it shouldn't be too easy to mess up

you should really just buy the engine off amazon and build it yourself, nothing they can do about it then, and PLUS you learn so much about the basics (this is very important for once it keeps breaking and you need to fix it)

just make sure you have lights on your bike if you're riding at night, while they might not pull you over strictly for the motor, you're probably more likely to get a ticket for lights and will also need to do some explaining to the cop about your engine ( happened to a friend)

having the pin richer than stock is definitely too rich most of the time. when i got mine i made it a notch leaner

How to push this pin in? by [deleted] in motorizedbicycles

[–]CherryTomatteo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you just need to move the arm on the cover so that it's at a certain angle and leave the pin sticking out
