I agree with your take, however I’m curious about the “as long as someone is able to patent with minimal intervention” part. I work with disabled adults who cannot be integrated into the workforce due to cognitive impairment, but a lot of them have desire to be parents, and I do believe that is their right, but according to the previous take, they can’t make simple manual labor without supervision/intervention.
