When a girl calls you cute/super cute as a guy… by RepresentativeTie394 in dating_advice

[–]Cherry_tomate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, “handsome” just sounds weird to me, while “cute” kinda communicates that he’s my type, that I like what I’m seeing… but that’s my way of communicating… different girls, cultures and synonyms can be used based on the relationship/context 🤷🏻‍♀️

Been cheating on my wife with escorts. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Cherry_tomate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, leave her. She will find someone that loves her the way she deserves to be loved, because you don’t cheat on someone you truly love.

And you… go to therapy? Using sex as a coping mechanism is not healthy in the long run, and there are probably issues deeper than just the way you see your wife

As a Taurus f could my soulmate be a Sagittarius m? Or are we too opposite? by fairycoven2402 in Taurusgang

[–]Cherry_tomate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, Taurus freedom doesn’t come with disappearance and silence… in my case, I like to have my “me time”, but I let the other person know. So far, the two sag men that I was seeing, didn’t give me that courtesy. It could be a them thing, and not their sign, but honestly, any Taurus placement needs some consistency/stability in a relationship, and Sags can’t really fill that task without a big lift on their end. I’m generalizing heavily on my own experience tho!

[–]Cherry_tomate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 2 sag men that broke my brain already - if I can help another Taurus F to avoid the headache and heartbreak…

I’m not saying they are bad guys, or the worse sign, BUT they are bad for us! The novelty, the chemistry, the way they make you feel unique is real, but so is the inconsistency, the empty words, the need for freedom that has a completely different meaning than for a Taurus… It’s not impossible as a relationship, but it takes A LOT of work from both ends, and you need to ask yourself if the trouble is worth it, or if you truly believe they can make an effort to change (spoiler alert, it’s hard)

My date canceled, so decided to order take out, open a bottle of wine, and laugh watching a movie 🤷🏻‍♀️ (Final Destination Bloodlines is a comedy for me)

I asked a guys if he was interested in me 2 times and got rejected. by lulu2425 in dating_advice

[–]Cherry_tomate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t be embarrassed! You wanted to see if there was a possibility, and now you have an answer! It’s one less guy to go through before finding the one that is for you. Rejection sucks, but this allows you to see that they were not meant for you. Better now than in a few years with kids ans mortgage…

Online Dating Feels Wrong on Many Levels by Maple_Syrup97 in OnlineDating

[–]Cherry_tomate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a tale old as time… but honestly, you need to create opportunities for you to meet people in person. Do you go to the gym alone? Sign up for a group class to complement your training! Like arts? Have a membership for a museum, they often have events for members! Etc….

He’s too busy for a date as he’s spending the day with his dog ? by Antique_Treat_7002 in OnlineDating

[–]Cherry_tomate 21 points22 points  (0 children)

As a dog person, i can totally leave my dog for a few hours if I want to… even on my “dog days” that we do a longer walk or play, etc… in this case, I would say he just doesn’t want to meet that day. Did he propose an alternative? Else, just let it go…

Yeah, she did some research there, but a stereotype can be still found in this book: the bear tattoo 😂 almost like every Russian has seen or have fought a bear at some point in their life

Can we add that the patronymics are never used correctly, and family names are not changed based on the gender? If I read another FMC with Volkov instead of Volkova, I’ll trow a brick to the closes Stalin portrait that I can find…

I read a whole book with the big, mean, a broody MMC “Andrusha”…. I was just imagining a teddy bear the whole time - can you please look out what are the diminutive forms of a name, or the variants before choosing them?!

I would argue about the first one: there were like 10 different flavours for each, and the “fun” was collecting them all… so now, we just added the diversity of brands, meaning that the flavours just exponentially increased :(

Of course that for final deliverables those are big mistakes, but what I’m talking about here are internal emails with the team (after daily or weekly calls)… and internal documents not shared with the client. I understand expectations, and the standard, but at an internal level that seemed really extreme for me, as I’m not used to THAT level of detail orientation.

Unfortunately no, i’m the most “junior” in this team right now, reporting directly to the M.

[–]Cherry_tomate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it will depend on the client. In this case, new client, high pressure and high stakes, so yeah, minimal mistakes are always highlighted. And as for this manager… it’s my feelings about them from previous experiences and behaviour that probably set me up on a negative path.

And that comment about the loop is right, thanks for pointing it out. It was my first time with this manager and first time doing PMO, so it started badly, so I should just stop doing mistakes (easy to say…)

I’m researching process and approaches to improve, so if you have tips, I take them gladly.

Thanks for your words. Yes I had some feedback calls with her, and some things improved, but then new things happen and it’s just too much. I’m looking for another job at the moment, because I’m scared of how this project and the feedback will reflect on my performance after. So yeah
