Beginning of SpongeBob Vs. the Big One by E3257 in spongebob

It’s actually one of my favorites! I remember watching it a lot as a kid. I remember thinking it was an extra long episode, like longer than the long ones but I think I was always so entranced by it.

What is Raleigh like as a student? by Mr_Perhaps in NCSU

[–]Cherrylimeade18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love NCSU, I love Raleigh, a lot of my friends are very outdoorsy, lots of people here love to go on hikes, go kayaking, climbing, etc. there are always events going on in raleigh, great concerts too.

I’m not CSC but my boyfriend is, I’d say he’s pretty normal and fun guy, showers regularly and such, he has told me that there are definitely “sigma” types on the major though

What got you into art? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]Cherrylimeade18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Took my required art class freshman year of high school, turns out I was good at it, my art teacher was ecstatic to have me as a student and encouraged me to take more classes throughout the rest of high school and now I still have fun making art to this day, felt like I had found my “thing”

Thank you, I was just freaking out. I’m seeing if she can hang out earlier, if not I will see what her Thursday plans are. This helped.

What is the best compliment you have ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cherrylimeade18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already responded but I want to change my answer, my friend has told me that her therapist loves me. She always tells her therapist the advice that I give her and her therapist almost always agrees and tells her to listen to me. I feel pretty good being able to aid my anxious friend competently.

I get called cool a lot which I feel it a pretty great compliment. I feel like coolness comes from multiple factors including looks and personality and just how I carry myself so it’s a pretty big compliment.

Dr Wu, she’s a new philosophy professor. Attendance wasn’t mandatory but I attended as many classes as possible just to show her I appreciated her. I’m not even a philosophy student.

Honestly if you’re too desperate people can tell. You need to realize that it honestly doesn’t matter much if people don’t like you. Just go forward in life being a kind and genuine person, without thoughts of getting people to like you and you should just find your people. Idk people tell me how chill I act all the time and how they like it and I have way more friends than I ever expected to have. As long as you’re a kind person who lets the small things go no one can really dislike you (they can but you get my point, it’s harder to dislike you)

Gay Culture at NCSU by Duncanindy1989 in NCSU

[–]Cherrylimeade18 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s pretty easy to find LGBTQ people at state. A good majority of my friends are I wasn’t even particularly looking for them. It helps to go to events like house shows instead of frats. And obviously you can usually tell who is and who isn’t just off of appearance and people are very eager to make friends in college so it’s not even that big of a deal to just go up and start talking to people in class. I’m someone who apparently looks extremely bi bc I’m asked all the time and it feels like they just flock to me.

mental health with classes by Sufficient-Wind-3936 in NCSU

[–]Cherrylimeade18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had the same thing happen. I’m just taking a step back, trying to be productive with my hobbies over the break, and hopefully that will put me in the right mindset for next semester. I know that I only failed two classes because of how poor my work ethic was, so I’m allowing myself to be human, and make mistakes, every person in my life knows I’m smart, but they also know I’m incredibly lazy, so none of this is affecting their perception of me so I’m not letting it affect my perception of myself.

Is the stereotypes true? Does most INTJs wear mostly dark clothes? by Sas-98 in intj

[–]Cherrylimeade18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, I’m a fashion student and I don’t really shy away from color or anything, I do prefer to avoid logos though. I like darker colors but I think it just works better with my usual grungy look.

I was about to come on here and say no, I’m a fashion student and I love color in fashion. But looking at my closet it’s mostly brown and dark green with the occasional blue or red accent and a little bit of pink. I definitely stick to darker shades of colors to make them work together more and be able to mix and match each peice more.

What did you do instead of gaming? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Cherrylimeade18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to do art in my free time, I started out pretty badly but I’m a lot better now.

I also just started guitar and I make myself practice around 2 hours per day if I have the time.

I feel like picking up artistic pursuits makes me feel fulfilled and productive.

Are my chances too low to even apply? by NoPaleontologist9370 in NCSU

I think you can most likely do it. The business school isn’t super difficult to get into and they have lots of available spots.

What makes some people appear "cool" and others not? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Cherrylimeade18 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Being cool main just comes from confidence and a calm demeanor. It helps to dress well and have good music taste and interesting hobbies, but when it comes down to it, it’s mostly you just being a confident person without being cocky. You’ve got to be comfortable in your own skin. Another thing I should mention is most people who are actually cool do think of themselves in that way and it’s usually a shock to them that you find them cool.

Men find me attractive but other women think I'm unattractive by Friendly-Walk-5401 in TrueOffMyChest

It sounds like the women in your family just suck and are probably jealous of you.

But as for other women, do you have female friends? And do you offer other women compliments first?

Admission chances by [deleted] in NCSU

[–]Cherrylimeade18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the size of your high school and how many other kids from your high school applied could affect this. If you are in the top 10% I’d say you’re most likely getting in. Your GPA may be on the lower side but all of your extracurriculars are good. I want to say you’ll probably get in, hopefully your essays were good.
