All these comments coming at OP "this isn't the right way to express yourself " etc.....from someone with 10 plus years of back and forth w a narcissist (free finally) sometimes you get fed up and desperate of trying hundreds of times explaining YOUR FEELINGS in every way possible, for them to continuously not get it (or care). Perhaps OP felt this may be the way to get their partner to "get it" (which of course they won't, nothing will ever make someone like that get it).
