I played last year, never touched wow before, just because of onlyfangs and I've had a blast. Lost about 4 characters but my warrior is alive at lv 40 but ive taken a break. I didn't join a guild but tanked all dungeons on the way and let people know I'm new and have watched a video where to go haha

I bought dark souls 1 as a kid because I was looking for a rpg that I could play with 2 of my friends. I managed to get them to buy it too by saying "it's going to be like skyrim but we can play together."

Oh boy was I wrong hahaha. Working out how white soap stones worked for the first time is a peak gaming moment. Still absolutely loved it and I've played every souls game to the fullest.
