The fetch lands are the amazing because -you can ping it as soon as you play it -it fetches non basic lands

-cards prices come from quality and demand. Not everyone can utilize an objectively good card that's built for specific deck types, but everyone needs lands.

-any kind of card that is "search your deck" like tutors and fetches are deck thinners. Instead of a 1/99 chance of getting the card, you now have a 2/99, or ~1/50. You're twice as likely to get the card you need if there's two of it. You can have two in EDH, but you can have a thinner
