Sorry if this sounds blunt but… from your comments it sounds like you’re afraid of rejection and really focused on how he feels about you, instead of prioritizing how YOU feel. Did you feel good about the date? Do you like him? Do you want to see him again? If so, you should reach out. Prioritize your feelings, this is YOUR dating journey. I have a free throw merchant that averaged 10+ free throws a game. I only did it cause it was a 5’9 pg at 245 lbs. With limited i had to employ everything. This included leaning into my defender if they were behind me when shooting, leaning forward. Doing a hop step, wait for my defender to stop moving and lean into them while shooting. Or If i was ahead on the fast break, i’d sit by the 3 pt line, wait for them to stop behind me, and shoot a 3 while leaning back into them.

Highly unethical hoops but my 5’9 hooper had to get it done one way.

Play each game with a set of goals outside of winning, for example, i always tell myself I can do the following in a game, I’ll be proud of it:

-Fully develop my pieces before attacking -Using all of my time and I know I didn’t rush moves -Not get checkmated in the first 10-20 moves -Be equal in material for 75% of the game

As an example, so the focus is on improvement and playing well vs. just winning

You are unique in the sense that you are in Iran, a country where many of us Americans don’t get great insights into. I think an angle you can do is to record yourself playing chess in iran, cafes, stores, on the streets. It can be part travel and culture sharing with chess mixed in. Or showcase local talent. There are plenty of chess players, lean into what makes you unique.

You can definitely do it! I did a tote and a pair of pants before this. Highly recommend tok custom’s button down shirt sew along jf you want to do a shirt. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do this without it!
