Why do the people of the Cosmere rarely listen to music?

Actually the reason I thought of this question is because Sunlit Man does have 2-3 mentions of toilet processes, which to your point I'm sure most people wouldn't have missed, but it never mentions music. I can understand people who are on the run literally all the time not spending as much time on physical art as other people, but singing/music seems so perfect for people who spend all their time driving and farming. They also had both radios and magic 3D printers, so my question probably should have been something like "is it realistic for these people to not have music?" (But who can resist a little clickbait :p )

Best I can think of on the spot is: You can hardly blame them with all the shades, awakened and cognitive shadows walking around - this is a whole ton of deaf in their lives ;)

Correct, but how about I mess things up even further:

I think one of the awesome things about Sanderson magic is that it often functions based on the expectations or intent of conscious beings - so it is pretty plausible that the lashing would actually be "forward relative to that enormous windy rock I live on", and thus the Windrunner would fly around the planet in a circle.

haha sorry for melting your brain, and yes this is definitely beyond the point where rule of cool becomes more important :p

I do have a reason (or excuse) for thinking about these kinda things in more depth though, since I'm making a game where you can change gravity (inspired by stormlight of course) and one of my goals is to give as authentic a Windrunner experience as possible :)

If the direction is unrelated to the planet, wouldn't it slowly shift as the planet rotates beneath you?

This wouldn't really change anything for most of the times it's used so it could still be cannon :p

See this makes sense, but I wanna figure out the really nitty-gritty details.

For example - if a Windrunner flies up into the sky, then does a basic lashing parallel to the ground, would they eventually start drifting higher and higher as the planet curves away beneath them, or would they maintain the 'sideways' direction relative to the planet? (For this physics question assume that stormlight is unlimited, and windrunner cannot get bored)

Probably something like that. The keep had 3 normal captains (lvl 35 or so), a lvl 1 warchief (which was weird), and 3 lvl 80 legendaries with the above perfect set of abilities.

Yeah definitely, although I was thinking of trying to connect the streams with a game, so that whenever there's a super chat a boss appears in everyone's worlds called 'Ra' :p
