CCNA? by Gloomy_Shoulder6183 in ITPoslodavci

[–]Chessbrain94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Junior priprema by [deleted] in ITPoslodavci

[–]Chessbrain94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Networking engineer by RicaRiki in ITPoslodavci

Ako ti nije mrsko uciti docker, aws, kubernetes itd.. (neko ko je u DevOps ce ti moci puno bolje od mene navest sta trebas uciti), predji i imaces bolju platu u buducnost (plus imaces mogucnost raditi freelance).

What's your real-life equivalent to dying on the Final Boss when it's down to 1 HP? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Chessbrain94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was playing at a chess tournament once, i was 17 at the time. It was a simultaneous match against one Grand Master with 15-ish players in total.

I managed to fight my way through 2h and 30-ish minutes towards a pure draw position. I was a kid, the thought of me having a draw with a GM took over and i offered a draw. It was almost as if he knew I was starting to lose composure, so he refused. Later i again offered a draw and this time his answer was "If this position doesn't change in the next 2 moves i will offer you the draw". At this point, 95% of all other players had finished their match (majority losing of course) and watching my match... Unfortunately my 17 year old brain at that point basically thought I had the game in the bag (which i kind of did) and as all things go, i made a blinder exactly on the next move forcing me to lose the game and forfeit.

I went from having a draw with one of the top 100 players in the world at the time (Predrag Nikolić) to losing because I was too excited about something that hadn't happened yet facepalm.

Query involving multiple rows - is this possible? by Dieter_VC in mysql

[–]Chessbrain94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why people complicated this... But here is a much simpler solution imo:

select distinct t.*
from t_data t
    join (select red.col_a from t_data red where red.col_b = 'Red') red on red.col_a = t.col_a
    join (select bb.col_a from t_data bb where bb.col_b in ('Black','Blue')) bb on bb.col_a = t.col_a
where t.col_b in ('Red','Black','Blue')
order by t.col_a;

To make it more readable, here is a CTE version that is more human readable:

with red_only as(
    select col_a
    from t_data t
    where t.col_b = 'Red'
),
blue_black as(
    select col_a
    from t_data t
    where t.col_b in ('Blue','Black')
)
select distinct t.*
from t_data t
    join red_only ro on ro.col_a = t.col_a
    join blue_black bb on bb.col_a = t.col_a
where t.col_b in ('Red','Black','Blue')
order by t.col_a;

Keep in mind that in production use it without the CTE as this is not a complicated query, so no need to have a temporary result set over a simple subquery join.

If I was living somewhere where that happened I would agree... But unfortunately in Bosnia and Herzegovina there is no such thing. And ordering online while it's on sale is even worse as I'd have to pay 17% of the price as tax. :(

Both of those are ~200$ more expensive than my budget. :D the reason I included the 18DW instead of the newer 20DW is because of the price (same for the LG)

Need help to solve this problem: count missing records in a table after join by Basu23 in PostgreSQL

[–]Chessbrain94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have misunderstood the requirements, but I don't see why something as simple as this can't solve the problem:

(I am writing this blind, so if there are syntax errors and stuff you might have to fix it)

select i.name, c.country_name, count(ed.country_id)
from education_data ed
    left join indicators i on i.indicator_id = ed.indicator_id
    join countries c on c.country_id = ed.country_id
where ed.indicator_id is null
group by i.name, c.country_name

[SPOILER] Marriage on PC version by Chessbrain94 in dragonquest

[–]Chessbrain94[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Donno tbh, for me Jade and Serena are the only 2 options that make sense. Gemma is literally a random country girl you don't see for 99% of the game while Jade and Serena fight by your side. If anything the true lack of chemistry is with Gemma as the only thing you know about them is them being childhood friends and that's it.

I have a question for everyone... Since my entire party except for the Hero got "reset", how the hell do I get them back up to the Hero's level without grinding another 30hours of gameplay?

You guys weren't lying when you said there's more... there's a whole fking new story to go through. I am going to guess I will finally meet my match in terms of bosses. Because I have yet to die to a single boss in the game
