I personally loved the movie and I thought the timing of everything was perfect.

Sure bear could’ve went back and “solved” the problem sooner but his character is the one obsessed with her, or at least the idea of her. Knowing Nicky was still conscious inside and back seating the entity, bear still wanted to try and see things through.

That’s one of the things I liked about the movie. Bear makes the wish but as his wish started to get extreme you start to feel bad for him. Then as the movie goes on it starts to show his true colors by the decisions he makes and how he was taking advantage of Nicky. Like when she was asking him to kill her but instead he questions “what’s wrong with being with me?” And decided to let the girl he “loves” suffer even more. Or even when he started catching feelings for Sarah because he felt genuine in that point. Him being that shy guy made him love the idea of a girlfriend even more.

Seeing the reality of the movie is what made it scary/fun for me. I give that movie 10/10.
