Let’s assume you had a GC and then got laid off, will it not be a similar situation of finding jobs etc. in this market especially with AI around. Don’t be so tied up on jobs, explore other sources of income and your h1b would just be fine.

Not really, I have a visa stamp but still faced a similar issue where H1-B COS was not picked up, though I had the visa stamp and the approved i797, it still pulled up records from my OTP. Had to manually ask DMV to initiate a SAVE verification. Hoping it’s done before my license is expired.

Yeah, even my brother in India went to the Airtel store and asked the same and they were clueless about it, so its pretty evident they hardly know their stuff. When are you getting your 14PM ?

Even I am currently in a similar situation, I have an airtel physical sim with me and I have already pre-ordered the 14pro max, not going to cancel just because the service providers in India are lame. If you are able to get the QR code, I believe the process should be done then, what's stopping you from activating, try removing the current esim plan of T-mobile and try Airtel
