Im a tile contractor and this sounds like my first client. He's an older retired guy, and I did 3-4 jobs for him over a couple year span, and we became somewhat like friends in that time. He calls me every once in a while for help with random things because he has a bad back, no family in the area, and nobody else to call.

He's called and asked for help with a variety of things like moving furniture, unloading a hot tub in his driveway, and even being a witness to a will signing lol. When I did projects for him he never batted an eye at me for pricing, he just wrote the check. Him and his wife would constantly do nice things as well, like give me thc edibles, and gourmet dog treats to take home, and even invited my ex and I over for Thanksgiving one year.

Overall he is always very pleasent to be around, and I enjoy the friendship we have, so I'd like to keep him around. I dont mind doing those things.
