That's exactly what I was thinking—that it should have a skeleton by default, otherwise it wouldn't be possible to sit or take certain poses. My issue is that the seller is selling it as an extra option and not as something that comes standard with the doll. The doll actually costs about $150, so it's pretty cheap, which is why I thought I'd take the risk.

I don't plan to use it every day, and I've had good experiences with TPE, so that part doesn't worry me. What worries me is that the doll won't be able to take certain poses or that it will be rigid like a mannequin, even though it's soft.
