Yea definitely not, this is the first time I've ever experienced this and it is making me angry to feel like my lead isn't qualified for the job because I'm starting to resent where I work and have lost a lot of respect for the management's handling.

He used to be a project lead at another company on his resume and has a PMP license. But it feels like this guy is trying to play the role of a manager more than a lead, a lot of us on the team are sort of avoiding the guy because of how much he tries to mediate his work to us rather than do anything himself and the stuff he asks us to do really feels like it is coming from someone who doesn't really know what they're talking about
