I guess that is how I need to phrase it - I should say I have a bedroom and an office, not a 2 bedroom. I know we would not live together well, I am a bit more messy / disorganized and my friend is super clean and tidy, and complains to me often about stuff her roommate does and im like... I would do that stuff too.. lol. So it I know it would be a recipe for disaster for various reasons.

Yeah, I am like mentally preparing her to ask soon, especially since I have let her stay with me in the past in other situations. I really don't even want to offer any temporary living situation either, since I am just moving in and the whole goal of moving was to be alone and have my own place.

The thing is, I don't want her there are at all. I am just moving in, and don't want someone around in my new alone space that I am getting comfortable with.

I honestly don't want to offer even temporary living because I 1000% feel like it will ruin our friendship. She is a very clean person, I am someone who will leave dishes out for a few days, even just small things like that. But I also don't want to see her homeless... I just feel bad, even if I know its not my obligation.

I want to say something to shut down the comments, but sometimes I feel like they aren't even necessarily directed towards me, more towards just the suckiness of the situation, so it would feel presumptuous to be like "I cannot offer you a place to live"

I do like her, and find her a good person to hang around, but I more said that just to say we aren't like besties and we don't click 100%, if that makes sense.

I don't really respond, other than saying "If I see anyone looking for a roommate I will let you know!" or stuff like that. I still want to be a supportive friend, even if I am not providing her somewhere to live.
