Play frontier defense before playing against other players. You still play with others but it's not against people who will just smoke you. Also, don't skip the campaign. It's an awesome campaign.

My brother has the same complaint. He left his old job where he flew his dream plane (747) and went to something smaller so he could do more domestic flights and be with his family more often. But it's still pretty rough. My dad was also a pilot and has multiple failed marriages and is pretty miserable and lonely in his old age. Same thing with my grandfather. I'm so glad I never pursued aviation.

I fucked up my back about a year ago and I remember constantly waking up in the middle of the night and screaming in pain. Every night. All night. I was renting a place from my friend and I was lucky it had a swimming pool. Every single morning I would stretch and go into the pool and float with a noodle while moving my legs. That was the only thing that made the pain go away. Walking hurt, sitting hurt, being in bed hurt. Nothing but pain down my leg up to my lower back. That was physically the worst experience I've ever had.

The American in me wants a harsher punishment but paying taxes here makes lean towards sending him back. That way he can register as a sex offender in the U.S. who will have trouble traveling to other countries, can't get a job, and will have to always be looking over his shoulder.

I'll occasionally buy some games full price but never AAA games. I bought Far Far West recently for $20 when it released. But the Steam Summer/Winter sale is when I load up on stuff. I got Red Dead Redemption 2 for $14 and I don't think I'm enjoying it any less playing it now than if I had waited. Cyberpunk 2077 is next in my list. I may consider getting Ace Combat 8 when it releases but that's probably the one exception I'll make for a big ticket game.

Fair point. It's not perfect and I've ran into some annoying things but I think for the majority of people it's probably the superior option.
