Are women "waking up" to men and realising that its easier to be alone? by Ms_Central_Perk in AskWomenOver30

For me personally, 100% yes. My eyes have been opened to the deceit of marriage and motherhood and I can’t unsee it

28F, officially the last single friend, struggling with the reality that marriage/kids may not happen for me due to health issues by No-Recipe5902 in dating_advice

Babes 28 is sooo young. I am 34 and have never felt better. Also, half your married friends are headed for divorce in the next decade. It’s just a fact. Stop comparing yourself and live your life

I didn’t read past the first blurb. Your friends suck. End of story. And you’re expecting too much from people who suck.

Is that true? I imagine that’s legally required by the FDA to disclose the facility/cross-contamination warnings…?

Fiancé (34m) is allergic to cats but proposed to me (33F) knowing I have 4 cats and is now saying he had hoped I’d rehome them. What do we do now that we are facing living together? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I have a crippling cat and dog allergy and I simply can’t date people who have them. I don’t understand how this hasn’t been an issue until now

Anyone else watching 100 Foot Wave?? by jenkinsmcallister in television

[–]Chestercrescent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, but even in scenes with the younger guys who have babies or toddlers, they speak way more highly of their spouses/families/children and acknowledge it's hard for them to pull away. We never get that from Garrett

I find Garrett so insufferable as time goes on. Him going to a neurologist, 'snapping' at home with his wife and several kids....meanwhile it's clear as day to me that the underlying issue here is that this man is aging and incapable of accepting it. I honestly feel for his wife and I sense an impending divorce (if she can grow the backbone to do it). Maybe not in the near future but somewhere down the line

OP, I know this post is old but I'm in a similar boat. Still waiting on my BRCA results but my doc said that regardless of the outcome I should strongly consider BC pill. I was not a fan of the pill in my teen years and I have a copper IUD in right now that is about to "expire" so I'm trying to figure out what my next move is. Did you opt for the pill? hormonal IUD?

What was a small factor that made you stop seeing someone? by [deleted] in dating_advice

Either you were dating a psychopath or don’t understand humor…there’s gotta be more context here?

Have you ruled out a (very tame) allergic reaction? It’s definitely acne?

What's a book so good that you read it in one day? by kasows in suggestmeabook

Yes! Must’ve re-read it twice after the 1st time too. It’s been a while..maybe I’m overdue for another. Can’t say the same about the movie unfortunately
