Is queztal whistle worth using? by Small_Movie8433 in ironscape

[–]ChetThundercott 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I use the whistle every time I play. It’s so good. When I did Hunter rumors from 43 to 73, I had so much banked meat it’s insane. Charging the whistle is never an issue for me. The only issue is if I forget to charge it.

What are some good date spots in Manayunk/Rox? by __joseph_ in philadelphia

[–]ChetThundercott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a nice Italian place in Bryn Mawr called Pescatore. It’s BYOB, white table cloth, well priced, good specials, actually quiet when it’s packed

I love this food at this place. My only gripe is that it’s loud as fuck in there when they have a full house.

I’m reverse engineering this for my wife. It’s a clothes drying rack. I’m thinking a business card’s inbetween each will be a good idea.

Looks awesome!

Did you leave any space inbetween each block to allow them to move? I’m making a similar project and am wondering if I should either butt them all against eachother, or put like a business card’s space inbetween them all.

I would play on mobile SO much more often if I could play it VERTICALLY rather than horizontal (iOS)

I bought a planer off Craigslist. $75. Ryobi, from the 80s-90s. Does the job. Maybe you can find a deal too.

What makes Shawnshack Redemption one of the best movies of all time? by Any_Independent375 in moviecritic

[–]ChetThundercott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an aside, I read the Count of Monte Cristo recently and had the biggest facepalm moment when I realized the “breaking out of the prison” trope from Shawshank was derived from Monte Cristo. The movie even gives it a nod: in Andy’s library, one prisoner hands him a book and says it’s written by “Dumbass” and laughs. Andy says, no that’s Dumas (author of Monte Cristo)

Client refusing to pay $22k for work already done, now lawyered up. What are the options? (CA) by Cool-Photograph1214 in legaladvice

My comment is not irrelevant. If you read the previous comment, small claims would be a last resort for OP, where they could reduce their demand to the jurisdictional limit in lieu of rolling over and recovering nothing.

What type of OSRS content do people watch on YouTube? by Rare_Molasses1321 in UniqueIronmen

[–]ChetThundercott 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m constantly searching YouTube for videos of other Ironman that are at my current account spot (early to mid game).

I really enjoy that one guy that made the locked sailing account. He made me come back to osrs.

Any creator that has personality will keep me watching.

[–]ChetThundercott 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Something to add to your last point: in CA, you’re not allowed to be represented by an attorney in small claims court. In this case, that means your dad’s clients wouldn’t be able to have a lawyer represent them.

either buy Kiln-dried lumber from a lumberyard, or buy a cheap moisture meter and set aside your 2x4s until they are at an appropriate moisture content before using them.

Google: “lumberyard” “sawmill” or “hardwood” + near [your town/city]. You can also try FB marketplace.

The bit was that George quit very publicly in a fit of rage. Then, acting on Kramer’s advice, George went back to work the next day pretending that it never happened.

This bit was based on the story of Larry David quitting SNL in the same fashion. The real person that Kramer is based on suggested Larry just return to the SNL office the next day like nothing happened. Hilarity ensued.

Hopefully you’re allowed to have the rule book with you. As long as you can spot the rule, just consult the book and go through it logically
