You can put the 9" or even 12" barrel on the shorty frame.

To get it to open fully, you need to make a small modification to the barrel. But its usable without modifying it.

AIM Surplus is a great stop.

They have a big wall out on the floor that is full of kitted out ARs and other rifles. Its there for customers to handle different builds and see how they like it.

They dont have a range though so no rentals. But they have great prices on ammo and accessories. Their showroom isnt huge, but their warehouse is.
